- Revenge: what Black Star attempts to get for maka when she is immobilized by Arachnaes magic
- Shirtless Scene: We finally see Stein without the labcoat and shirt on, discovering he truely is a Genius Bruiser. No wonder some fans consider him a hot teacher
- When She Smiles: Azusa is usual a Perpetual Frowner and never smiles in the manga, in the anime episode 27 however, she does a small smile in conversation with Sid about her abilities that "anything is better than going in blind, right Sid" with a small but noticeable smile on her face.
- X-Ray Vision: A mild example, Azusa can use soul resonance to see into enemy territory at a fifty meter range, telling where souls and objects like the magic tool are. she bypasses this with radio equipment to resonante with Sid through his headset.
