The Homeowners' Association orders the Schlorpians to paint their crashed ship to match the roof. In retaliation, Korvo decides to find out how to make the neighbors like them by placing Nanobots in the water supply and run for HOA president.
Jesse gets tired of Yumyulack kidnapping people arbitrarily to put in his wall. Her belief is that people have reasons to be mean, and uses mind-control chips to convince Yumyulack on that point. However, this plan goes better than expected and the next thing Jesse knew, Yumyulack dragged her to a Neo-Nazi Bar.
Pupa decides to go on an epic quest. He slinks into the woods, and comes out bloodied with a raven skull. What is his agenda?

- Big Brother Instinct: Yumyulack suits up and wipes out the entire bar of Neo-Nazis that are threatening him and his little sister. He makes sure not an inch of Jesse's skin is touched.
- Brick Joke: A long one for the C plot of what Pupa is doing. The episode starts with Pupa being ill from candy. Then his plot is doing a convoluted thing — killing a crow, stabbing a man, cloning a leg— to knock candy out of a vending machine and eating it.
- Character Development: In the previous episode, Jesse would have been happy to bicker with Yumyulack about how to dunk someone in acid or shrink them. He also would have been furious with her for mind-controlling people to prove his point. Here they manage to compromise; Yumyulack will control his tendencies to shrink anyone who annoys him and Jesse will cool it on trying to change her brother's view.
- Cool Old Lady: We find out Ruth is the one for the HOA because she manages to calm the feuding neighbors down and tell them there's no need for sci-fi bullshit.
- Disproportionate Retribution: The kids go to a Neo-Nazi bar, and Yumyulack crashes the stage to have Jesse sing her song about friendship. In retaliation, the Neo-Nazis attack and try to murder them.
- Do Androids Dream?: The nanobots decide that, rather than helping Korvo rebuild the ship, they're going to go and buy a house and fall in love. Before Terry and Korvo can catch them, they fly out the window and into the night.
- Everyone Has Standards: Even Yumyulack doesn't like killing people unnecessarily.
- Freudian Excuse: Invoked; Jesse thinks that people are jerks because they have their emotional baggage. Yumyulack tells her in the end that sometimes people don't have or need an excuse to be jerks.
- Let's Get Dangerous!: Yumyulack suits up and wipes out the Neo-Nazis in several seconds flat, all the while apologizing to them for the suit being on autopilot.
- Mugging the Monster: The Neo-Nazis try to kill two alien children for interrupting their song and offering chocolate pudding cups. Yumyulack teaches them the hard way why it's a bad idea.
- No Sympathy: Averted; while Yumyulack is mad that Jesse was manipulating him and lied about people having a Freudian Excuse, he tells her that she meant well but is naïve about the way things are on Earth. Sometimes being nice doesn't cut it.
- Prefers Going Barefoot:Jesse: I like humans, but I hate shoes. Like, how are we supposed to taste the ground?
