(CWi Episode: "Show Time Showdown")
The Sailor Guardians are cordially invited to attend the Greatest Ceremony in the Universe which is held by the Dead Moon Circus. With the world falling to darkness and Mamoru's condition worsening, the heroes have no choice but to enter the enemy's base where the Amazon Quartet have some new tricks up their sleeves.
Tropes in this episode include:
- Batter Up!: Jun Jun uses a magic baseball bat to hit a ton of balls at the heroes. And if that wasn't enough, the balls turn out to be explosive.
- Big "NO!": Chibi Moon screams this after the Inners are close to being defeated.
- Chekhov's Gun: Nehelenia notices that Helios' dead body starts to glow whenever he communicates with his holder. He does it again during the fight in the circus which tips her off about Chibi Moon.
- Cliffhanger: After confirming that Chibi Moon has the Golden Dream Mirror, Zirconia has her trapped in a giant mirror while the Inner Guardians try to reach out to her.
- Commonality Connection: Mercury confides in Chibi Moon that she too dreamt of the white horse when she was a little girl. The other Inners admit that they too were haunted by the creature in their adolescence.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Thanks to getting a power boost from the Shadow Queen, the Amazon Quartet are able to overpower the Sailor Team with minimal difficulty.
- Damsel in Distress: Zirconia has Chibi Moon trapped in a mirror so she can formally meet her superior.
- Didn't Think This Through: The Amazon Quartet realize that having the Lemures fight the significantly stronger Sailor Guardians before reaching the main tent wasn't their best idea.
- In Medias Res: The episode picks up with the Sailor Guardians noticing an unexpected eclipse, their decision to face the Dead Moon, and the white horse showing up to stop them.
- Internal Reveal:
- Pegasus reveals his true identity to the Sailor Team along with Queen Nehelenia's existence.
- The Inners and Tuxedo Mask learn about Chibi Moon's secret relationship with Pegasus.
- Zirconia presents herself to the Sailor Guardians. It's also thanks to her that she exposes Chibi Moon as Pegasus' true holder.
- Leave the Two Lovebirds Alone: Noticing that Usagi needs some alone time with her critically wounded boyfriend, Rei tells the others to give them some time alone.
- Locked Out of the Fight: Mamoru is unable to help in the latest battle because of his weak condition.
- My Significance Sense Is Tingling: Mamoru can tell that his daughter was abducted by the Dead Moon.
- The Promise: Before leaving, Usagi promises Mamoru that she'll find a way to defeat the enemy and save the planet.
- The Reveal: Mamoru's pains are the result of his soul being in-tune with the state of the Earth which is being eaten away by the Dead Moon's influence.
- Stating the Simple Solution: After hearing the horse explain how powerful his Golden Crystal is, Venus suggests that they use it on the Dead Moon Circus to destroy them. Chibi Moon says that it can't work without the one person who can use the crystal's full power.
- Sticky Situation: Ves Ves uses a ball made of sticky pink stuff to trap the Inner Guardians.
- Took a Level in Badass: Queen Nehelenia uses her dark magic to give the Amazon Quartet stronger powers so they can destroy the Sailor Guardians.
- Vine Tentacles: Over-sized vines begin to appear and enwrap themselves around the city's buildings.
