Nicole learns of Pat's return, and is obviously not happy. Pat tries in vain to warn her and Suzanne about the new Crooked Man. Brayden manages to get into Dion's circle of friends as part of The Crooked Man's revenge scheme.

- Astral Projection: At the end of the episode, Brayden uses his powers to appear in Dion's room and talk to him while not physically being present.
- Cassandra Truth: Nobody believes Pat as he tries to tell them there's a new Crooked Man, until at the end of the episode Suzanne Wu sees a video of this new crooked man.

- You Should Have Died Instead: Played with, since Pat did briefly die at the end of season 1, but Nicole complains how unfair it is that, out of all the people they lost, Pat is the one that gets to come back from the death rather than Mark or Charlotte.
