Nicole puts everything on the line to rescue Dion from Suzanne and BIONA. Later, Charlotte uncovers a terrifying truth.

- Asshole Victim: Charlotte humiliates Dion's racist principal Mr. Campbell by tripping him.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: Pat is revealed to be this underneath his usual nerdy personality.
- Defiant to the End: Charlotte, despite her obvious terror of the Crooked Man, gets to her feet and fires her strongest lightning at him, screaming that he cannot have Dion. She continues fighting back even when he lifts her into the sky to consume her.
- Entitled to Have You: Despite previously being rejected by Nicole, Pat claims that she led him on and gets furious over her dancing with another man. This is after he snooped in her apartment and noticed the table set for three people (the third being Charlotte). Both Nicole and Charlotte even call him 'entitled' to his face.
- False Friend: Esperanza wonders out loud why Jonathan keeps hanging out with his two supposed friends, noticing that they just as often make fun of him as that they help him.
- Pat is revealed to be this twice over: first with his Entitled to Have You attitude toward Nicole, and again, when he reveals himself to Charlotte as the Crooked Man.
- Foreshadowing: During a conversation between Pat and Suzanne early on, it's revealed that Dion ended up in the hospital after trying to heal Pat due to overtaxing his powers — and that said powers are symbiotic with organisms that were caught up in the Iceland event, hence why he was able to heal the fox. This hints at what's revealed at the end: that Pat was also caught up in the Iceland event, despite his constant claims that he was in the yurt the whole time, and that he's been lying all along.
- Headphones Equal Isolation: When the Crooked Man attacks Charlotte, Dion is trying to video call Esperanza and doesn't notice anything about the sudden storm just outside his window.
- Mama Bear: The episode opens with Nicole storming into BIONA's office, and threatening to tear the place down if she doesn't get Dion back.
- Mistaken for Cheating: Pat thinks Nicole has a relationship with Rashad when he first notices there is a third plate at the table (it was for Charlotte), and later he sees Rashad and Nicole dance during their lunch break.
- Though, this is especially notable because Pat and Nicole weren't in a relationship to begin with, Nicole having firmly rejected him earlier. So this is less Mistaken for Cheating and more Entitled to Have You.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Dion thinks he can cheer up Esperanza by using his powers to levitate her out of her wheelchair. However, she is angry at him for trying to help her walk, and leaves in disgust.
- Oh, Crap!: Charlotte has a massive one when Pat transforms into the Crooked Man right in front of her.
- The Reveal: We learn that Pat is the Crooked Man.
- Shout-Out: The episode's title is adapted from a famous catch phrase by The Incredible Hulk
- Wham Line: By Pat, to Charlotte:Pat: I should have killed you in New Orleans.
