Episode Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch Comment: After Pop-Pop caused a blizzard inside Jane's office, she says she won't pay for his services... unless he beats her in a snowball fight.
- Call-Back: When talking to her Pop-Pop morphed, Amelia deepens her voice to protect her identity. This was previously done by Ollie back in Episode 2.
- Can't Believe I Said That: Void Knight finds "Good thinking, Mucus" are words he never thought he'd ever say.
- Continuity Nod: When Javi gives Amelia some hot cocoa, his entire mug is covered in marshmallows. Izzy did say he ate all the marshmallows for smores in Episode 9.
- Emotion Control: Tombtress' Mood Blast can amplify anybody's emotions when hit by one, and they take a while for the effects to wear off. Some of these effects include:
- Javi becoming over emotional and tearing up over anything.
- Amelia becoming more irritable.
- Izzy becoming a scaredy-cat.
- Ollie becoming annoyingly happy.
- Zayto becoming bored and uninspired.
- Epic Fail: In a truly impressive case of being Hopeless with Tech, Pop-Pop's attempts to repair Jane's air conditioning somehow caused a blizzard to appear in her office. As in, complete with actual snow.
- Foreshadowing: While it may be too soon to say, the revealed that Amelia grandfather worked in Area 62 may be this.
- Genre Shift: Subverted. The episode briefly hints at taking a turn into horror, but the so-called "ghost" is quickly revealed to be a Sporix beast and the typical Power Rangers formula reasserts iself.
- Hypocritical Heartwarming:Izzy: Nobody makes my brother cry! Except maybe me sometimes.
- Playing with Fire: The Blaze Key and the Dimetro Blazing Zord debut in this episode.
- Title Drop: Pop-Pop says the episode title barely a minute into the episode, referring to the eponymous mansion while doing some work.
