Recap / One Hundred And One Dalmatian Street S 1 E 6 May Contain Nuts

Go To

Dolly, inspired by Sid, begs him to show her some moves.

This episode features examples of:

  • False Friend: Sid tutors Dolly in the ways of Le Parkour, but only so he can use her to get him nuts.
  • Hanging by the Fingers: Dolly ends up hanging from the church clock hand after Sid gets her to carry the bag of nuts he stole to his hideout in the clock.
  • Jerkass Ball: Sid takes advantage of Dolly's request to teach her some of his acrobatic moves by tricking her into helping him steal nuts from a shop.
  • Just in Time: The pups manage to position their mattress just as Dolly loses her grip and falls from the clock tower, allowing her to land safely onto it.
  • Karma Houdini: Despite snubbing poor Delgado and helping Sid to steal nuts, the latter of which is downright criminal behavior, Dolly manages to escape punishment for her actions with Sid being left to take the blame at the end.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: The weight of the nuts Sid had Dolly help him steal causes the floor of his hideout to give way, depositing him right at Pearl the police horse's feet.
  • Look Behind You: Sid does this to get Dolly to look away so he can bury his acorn.
  • Mythology Gag: When we see three dachshunds howling at a window, the street view from the window shows Roger's bachelor flat from the original movie.
  • Oblivious to His Own Description: Dylan calls Sid a "rat with a stupid, bushy tail" while he himself has a feather duster strapped to his tail for cleaning purposes. Dolly lampshades it.
    Dolly: Look who's talking.
  • Offscreen Teleportation: Dolly does this repeatedly while trying to convince Sid to teach her his moves.
  • Properly Paranoid: Dylan is completely right about Sid using Dolly to steal nuts, which Dolly soon learns the hard way.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Delgado briefly does this when asking Dolly if he can come with her to meet Sid. She doesn't even look in his direction.
  • Three-Point Landing: Sid does this after catching the acorn he was trying to get in the opening scene.
