Lloyd competes in a rollerskating competition as the recently-eliminated Cole attempts to navigate his new surroundings and find Zane.
Tropes:
- Blatant Lies: Chen claims to have a Thunderblade record of 100. When a mishap with an Anacondrai Cultist mistakenly sets Lloyd's score to 106, Garmadon snarks that Lloyd beat Chen's record.
- Exact Words: Clouse has Jacob taken to "feed his serpent" after catching him trying to escape. He never said that he wanted to feed Jacob to his serpent.
- Irony: The Ninja want to stay in the tournament to find Zane, but the first one to find him (Cole) only did so through being eliminated from the tournament.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Everything Chen does to ensure Lloyd's defeat only helps him come back and win.
- Pet the Dog: Despite previously being hostile to his competitors (especially Kai), Karlof stalls the guards to allow Cole the chance to talk to Zane.
- Power Copying: Garmadon reveals that Skylor's element isn't Fire, it's Amber, which allows her to do this and explains why she had Kai's powers. Kai's crush on Skylor, which had vanished after the reveal of their potential relation, immediately returns in full force.
- Sore Loser: Chen tries to disqualify Lloyd by whining that the Green Ninja cheated, even though Chen tried to cheat through the entire round.
