Mimpi Metropolitan is a Roommate Com set on a dormitory in the city of Jakarta. The show focuses on the three friends that live there: the newcomer Bambang, pirated DVD seller Alan, and aspiring actor Prima. The show also features their landlady and agency owner Mami Bibir, a television creative Melani, and another newcomer Pipin. Spoilers are unmarked.

1. Episode 1: Bambang is introduced to the dorm and Melani. Pipin first arrives in Jakarta and meets Alan.
2. Episode 2: Bambang, Alan and Prima accidentally ruin Mami Bibir's bag, so they must work as extras and paid audience members until they can pay off a replacement. Pipin starts working for Mami Bibir.
3. Episode 3: Eid al-Adha special.
4. Episode 4: Prima is attracted to Ada Azab Dalam Cerita's star Clarabel. The rent payment date for the dorm is nearing.
5. Episode 5: Bambang is mad at Alan for making him pay the majority of their rent payment. Melani moves to Mami Bibir's house.
6. Episode 6: Pipin starts a gado-gado shop. Prima gets promoted to continuity extra in Ada Azab Dalam Cerita.
7. Episode 7: Bambang studies for the university entrance exam. Alan stops selling pirated DVD and looks for a new job.
8. Episode 8: Bambang is angry at Alan and Prima for ruining his father's message for Maudy Koesnaedi.
9. Episode 9: Melani's mother is coming for visit. Prima finds out how profitable becoming a paid protester can be.
10. Episode 10: Bambang's uncle visits the dorm and gives Bambang their family car. Mami Bibir has Bambang, Alan and Prima repaint her house.
11. Episode 11: Pipin decides to make some changes to her shop menu.
12. Episode 12: Bambang takes care of a lost elderly man. Mami Bibir makes Prima a field coordinator of her agency.
13. Episode 13: Bambang did a good job in the last episode, so he gets another job: taking care of an elderly former boxer.
14. Episode 14: Bambang, Alan and Prima start a laundry business named "Baper Laundry". Melani brings Bambang to Outdoor Chef's set since Maudy Koesnaedi is going to be the guest star.
15. Episode 15: Prima is irritated that Clarabel ignores him in favor of Bambang, who is suddenly becoming famous. Running a laundry business turns out to be harder than Bambang and Alan thought.
16. Episode 16: The main characters go to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
17. Episode 17: Bambang and Alan gets to work in a car wash. Melani is ill and needs Prima's help.
18. Episode 18: Alan and Prima gets a job as a paid boyfriend of graduating college students.
19. Episode 19: Alan joins his old friend, Kai, as a debt collector. Prima's fake girlfriend from the last episode is stalking him.
20. Episode 20: After noticing Bambang's current popularity, Prima tries to make him an actual celebrity. Alan realize he doesn't really have it in him to be a debt collector.
21. Episode 21: Bambang gets to be a guest star in Outdoor Chef, but he is starting to realize that the life of celebrity is not for him.
22. Episode 22: At Mami Bibir's insistence, Bambang becomes a guest star in Ada Azab Dalam Cerita. Bambang, Alan and Prima try to earn money by becoming a facial cream tester.
23. Episode 23: The famous talk show host Alexi is gossiped to be in a relationship with an unknown woman. Melani happens to be the woman's true identity.
24. Episode 24: Alan gets into an accident with Wawan, forcing Alan to find a way to pay for Wawan's hospital bill.
25. Episode 25: Alan and Prima gets mad at Bambang for apparently not helping Alan. Bambang helps out an ill odong-odong driver Dadang.
26. Episode 26: With Bambang's money, Alan manages to pay Wawan's bill. Working as odong-odong driver turns out to be too much for Bambang.
27. Episode 27: Prima's friend from the college, Susan, hires Bambang, Alan and Prima to help her party planner business. Melani is moved to The Proposal.
28. Episode 28: Mami Bibir meets a handsome extra, Juna, who is looking for a new agency. Alexi finds out a way to live close to Melani.
29. Episode 29: Alexi and Juna move to the dorm, earning antagonism from Bambang, Alan and Prima.
30. Episode 30: Bambang, Alan, Prima and Susan get some help from Pipin, Melani and Alexi to hold two party in the same day.
31. Episode 31: Prima's job gets worse as he is jealous of the treatment that Juna got.
32. Episode 32: Bambang, Melani, Alan, Pipin and Prima sell snacks in an outdoor cinema.
33. Episode 33: Juna wins a free TV prize. Prima wonders what is causing his recent bad luck.
34. Episode 34: Prima reconciles with Mami Bibir. Bambang and Alan gets a job in Ada Azab Dalam Cerita's artistic department.
35. Episode 35: The dorm residents finds out about Alan's wig and Juna's real name. Alexi's contract as a host is running out and he wants to work in Ada Azab Dalam Cerita with Mami Bibir.
36. Episode 36: Alan and Prima directs Bambang into a love confession to Melani.
37. Episode 37: Melani's rejection leaves Bambang heartbroken and jealous-prone. Mami Bibir convinces Alexi's mommy to let Alexi works with her.
38. Episode 38: The local watchman, Soleh, suddenly dies of a heart attack. Bambang and Alan apply for the vacant watchman job.
39. Episode 39: Bambang goes back to Wonosari after hearing his father falls ill. After seeing recent tragedies, Mami Bibir decides to hold a religious recitation.
40. Episode 40: Alan starts to work as a watchman. Pipin notices that Melani is starting to return Bambang's feelings.
41. Episode 41: Mami Bibir's birthday is approaching, but reminiscing about her late husband, David, makes her sad.
42. Episode 42: The Proposal's client just happens to look like David. Bambang returns from Wonosari but he is as jealous as ever when it comes to Melani.
43. Episode 43: The dorm residents prepare Mami Bibir's birthday party. Bambang's jealousy reaches its peak.
44. Episode 44: Mami Bibir's birthday party is held. Seeing Melani cries because of him makes Bambang realize he is the wrong one all along.
45. Episode 45: Melani forgives Bambang. Bringing Juna to Ada Azab Dalam Cerita's set ends up causing a quarrel between him and Alexi.
46. Episode 46: Bambang has let go of Melani, but he is willing to bet that Juna is not going to be her boyfriend.
47. Episode 47: Prima is sick of Alexi and Juna's antics on set. Melani comes to accept that she loves Bambang.
48. Episode 48: Bambang and Melani starts a secret relationship. Mami Bibir forces Alexi and Juna to stop squabbling on set.
49. Episode 49: A fellow dorm resident, Topan, has to finish his bachelor's thesis and he needs help from the others. Alexi gets fired from Ada Azab Dalam Cerita.
50. Episode 50: Juna becomes The Proposal's new host while Bambang and Alan gets a job in its artistic department.
51. Episode 51: After losing his job in The Proposal, Bambang decides to start a business as an egg roll seller. Alexi tries to find a new role but no director wants to work with him anymore.
52. Episode 52: Alexi decides to run his own production house. Pipin's shop is going to be covered by a TV show hosted by Maudy Koesnaedi.
53. Episode 53: Alan helps Alexi finds a house for his new office and ends up becoming his assistant. Bambang celebrates the week anniversary of his relationship with Melani.
54. Episode 54: The dorm residents find out about Bambang and Melani's secret relationship.
55. Episode 55: Melani becomes a advisor at Alexi's new production house, soon to be titled Alexi Project.
56. Episode 56: Alexi Project holds a walk-in job interview. Alan enlists Topan to help him work in Alexi Project, but it doesn't make their job any easier.
57. Episode 57: Alan tries his luck at confessing his love to Pipin.
58. Episode 58: Bambang's use of MSG in his egg roll causes controversy. Juna cannot be found when he is supposed to shoot his scene in Ada Azab Dalam Cerita.
59. Episode 59: Prima is suspended due to namecalling Mami Bibir behind her back. Bambang gets a new job as a waiter.
60. Episode 60: Prima gets a job offer from the famous martial artist, Yayan Ruhian.
61. Episode 61: Bambang becomes insecure from people not believing his relationship with Melani.
62. Episode 62: Alexi Project's opening ceremony is held. Bambang is unhappy seeing Melani wearing Alexi Project's shirt.
63. Episode 63: Bambang tries to apologize to Melani for how he acts in the last episode. Alan is jealous at the attention Pipin gives to Bambang.
64. Episode 64: Pipin gets scammed so Alan helps her find money to pay her two million rupiah debt. Melani realizes that Bambang is not completely wrong for being jealous.
65. Episode 65: Pipin wins two billion rupiah prize from a bottle cap. Alan is leaving the dorm to become his favorite band's roadman. A tragedy befalls Bambang's father in Wonosari.
