Prima is attracted to Ada Azab Dalam Cerita star Clarabel. Bambang and Alan continue working as extras and learn a couple of things about it from Prima. The rent payment date for the dorm is nearing.
This trope provides examples of:
- Bait-and-Switch Comment: When Prima hears that Bambang paid fifty thousands rupiah for the motorcycle taxi, Prima tells Bambang that he should have asked Prima to drive him... so Prima can get the fifty thousands rupiah.
- Blunt "No": In the ending, Alan asks Bambang whether he remember agreeing to lend more money than his actual share. Bambang bluntly says no, as he was sleeping back then.
- Changing Clothes Is a Free Action: The moment he is told that he have a job to do in Melani's office, Bambang changes all his clothes just by walking off-screen for a few seconds.
- Growling Gut: Growling sound effect plays when Alan is selling DVDs on the third day, setting up Pipin giving Alan some food that he really wants at the moment.
- Hot Wind: Used on Clarabel's hair when Prima first sees her.
- Moving Right Through: After waiting for her for so long in the studio, Bambang is happy that Melani seemingly greets him and returns the favor, only for Melani to walk pass him and talk to a co-worker also named Bambang.
- Sarcasm-Blind: Bambang reacts to Alan's sarcastic explanation that "H-3" message means bomb by covering his ears and asking where the bomb is.
- Shout-Out: The director name on the clapper board that Prima carry is "Rangga AADC", as in Rangga, the main character of Ada Apa Dengan Cinta.
- Through His Stomach: The day after their first meeting, Prima tries to get close to Clarabel by giving her a bottle of coffee like the one she gave to him the previous day. Too bad the reason Clarabel gave it was because she doesn't like it, so she gives Prima's coffee to Akbar.
- Who's on First?: Bambang mistakes Mami Bibir refering Alan as "Si Alan" with her swearing "sialan".
