Wonder World is falling apart faster... and our world will also vanish with it sooner. With Sophia arming herself with Ankokuken Kurayami, she joins the swordsmen as they make their last stand against Storious. Meanwhile, Luna learns the value of her own existence, and Mei, who is beginning to fade, rises up to make her own stand to save the world. Unfortunately, Storious' vision of an extravagantly "beautiful end" is shaping up quickly. Will anyone be able to save the world before the end comes?

Episode tropes:

  • Big Badass Battle Sequence: The episode opens on a skirmish between the ten swordsmen and an entire army of Shimis.
  • Combination Attack: Plays out twice within the same battle. Daishinji and Ren distract Spartan with one so Ren and the remaining energies within Desast's Alter Ride Book can deliver a final, decisive combo.
  • Dead Person Conversation: Storious is briefly roped into one with the souls of Legeiel and Zooous, who confront their friend on his Faceā€“Heel Turn. This tips Storious off to the fact they're fake spectres made by Luna.
  • Due to the Dead: Ren executes his version of Desast's Calamity Strike with his Alter Ride Book and Kyomu, complete with Desast's spirit appearing beside Ren from start to finish of the sequence.
  • The Fatalist: Storious' philosophy, ultimately. The Book of Omniscience has every detail on existence accounted for, including the creation and end of everything. There's no hope and it's All for Nothing and he wants the heroes to die knowing that.
  • Good Cannot Comprehend Evil: Exploited. The souls of Storious' fellow Megid generals calling the former out on what he's doing as if it's new knowledge reveals them as imitations created by Luna to try and change his mind.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Implied. The Combination Attack Daishinji performs with Ren puts him on the receiving end of a fatal blow.
  • Lost in Imitation: In-universe example. Storious bemoans humanity's stories and creations as knock offs stemming from the Book of Omniscience.
  • Memento MacGuffin: Ren uses the power of Desast's shattered Alter Ride Book]to defeat Spartan.
  • Motive Rant: Storious' conversation with Luna amounts to one, being a diatribe on how Humans are unoriginal plagiarists of the Book of Omniscience and that the world's going to end anyway.
  • Not Himself: Legeiel and Zooous being absolutely appalled at Storious' malice is what outs them as imitations.
  • One Last Song: Daishinji claims to hear a "lullaby" from the Suzune before seemingly dying with it in his arms.
  • Spirit Advisor: The souls of Kamijo and Hayato assist Sophia during her battle as Calibur, offering her their power.
  • Suicidal Cosmic Temper Tantrum: Storious' motives ultimately amount to one. Gaining all of the world's knowledge has robbed him of all desire. The world's going to end anyway, so why not make it a beautiful one?
  • You Shall Not Pass!: Happens repeatedly. Each of the Lords of Wise are stopped by one or two of the swordsmen, who urge the others further onward while they remain to fight.
