Summary
Rintaro has renewed his resolve with his Seiken evolving. However, Master Logos starts to eliminate Touma, penetrating the barrier protecting the Northern Base with both Reika and Ryoga fight the swordsmen while Zooous and Storious carry out the raid. The four swordsmen struggle to defend the Northen Base while Rintaro and Ryo face off against Zooous and Storious. However, Rintaro and Zooous still have a score to settle with each other, one that, at the end of the day, will see one man standing and another falling...
Episode Tropes:
- All Your Base Are Belong to Us: The Southern Base swordsmen (Durendal and Sabela) and the Megid (Storious and Zooous) launch a simultaneous attack on Northern Base.
- Hazy-Feel Turn: Reika's dedication to Master Logos begins to waver after Yuri tells her about her master and the Megid working together. She's skeptical at first, but after seeing Zooous dragging an unconscious Ogami, she begins to wonder.
- Heroic Resolve: After spending the last few episodes realizing it, Rintaro's resolve turns the Northern Base's part of the Tome of Omniscience into his Super Mode Wonder Ride Book, Tategami Hyoujuu Senki.
- Killed Off for Real: Much like Legeiel, Zooous attains his One-Winged Angel form (Zooous Predator), only to meet his end at the hands of Blades in his Tategami Hyoujuu Senki form.
- Legacy Character: While all of the Riders in Saber qualify, Blades' Tategami Hyoujuu Senki form takes it up to eleven by having its power be based on the spirits and wishes of his predecessors as swordsmen, including his master, the previous Blades.
- Power Hair: Wild Blades' mane can detach and transform into a select few tools, including a pair of eagle wings for flight and a shark construct for swimming.
- Pyrrhic Victory: The Northern Base team manage to hold off Southern Base and the Megid, even managing to defeat Zooous, but have Ogami/Buster out of commission and three Seikens (Ikazuchi, Gekido and Suzune) in the hands of Southern Base.
- Super-Senses: Somehow, Touma can see how Durendal's Time Master powers work, and manages to counter the previously invincible Rider.
- Uncertain Doom: Ogami spends most of the episode unconscious after being curbstomped offscreen by Zooous, and is nowhere to be seen in the aftermath. Though one could argue he's in the Northern Base's infirmary.
