Summary
Now that Giff has been defeated, Ikki, along with his family and friends, can finally resume their normal, peaceful lives. As Daiji returns to a reformed FENIX, it's back to school for Sakura; on her way there, she encounters Hana, who has come to bid her farewell.
While all this is going on, George is conducting some new research and running a few experiments of his own. "It's finally complete..."
Just what is it that George has completed? And what does he intend to use it for...?
Tropes
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: We have Vice recapping to the audience the series' events so far, after which it cuts to George, who ominously announces that it's not over whilst staring into the camera.
- The Bus Came Back: Bon from the fifth episode returns, having restarted his vlogging career and inviting Ikki and Vice to a meet and greet.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Ikki deciding to transform against Vice and his siblings’ protests as his memory loss has worsened.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Once George does get going he hands everyone the beating of their lives. In the case of Jeanne, he quite literally curbpunches, THEN curbstomps her.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: George's reaction is this when Daiji attempts to peacefully negotiate with him by giving him all the remaining Drivers, as he prefers to prove his strength by defeating the remaining Riders instead.
- Failed Attempt at Drama: George puts on quite the show as he transforms into Juuga, with plenty of monologuing and dramatic effects from his Transformation Sequence. Then he zaps himself trying to attack Ikki and Vice and has to awkwardly jump through the ceiling so that they don't just pulverize him on the spot.
- Internal Reveal: Daiji and Sakura finally learn about Ikki's worsening amnesia after Ikki mistakes their parents for bathhouse customers.
- Morton's Fork: Vice stops Ikki from transforming and transforms alone to face Juuga, believing that so long as Ikki himself doesn't transform his amnesia shouldn't worsen. This doesn't work anyways, as Ikki still ends up forgetting his parents, believing they are customers who walked in on the bathhouse's off hours.
- The Only One: George believes his new non-demon powers as Juuga is the only one needed to protect humanity, and as such seeks to eliminate all the other demon-based Riders to prove his strength.
- The Reveal: The Ushijima residence/Weekend H.Q. was once the Karizakis' house.
- Wham Shot:
- A hallway full of defeated Demons Troopers while a crazed looking George looks over them with the Juuga Driver in his hand.
- Tamaki discovers a stain on the floor upstairs that will not come off... which happens to be the exact same stain in the very same spot Hiromi saw in an old photograph of Young George and Masumi.
- The Worf Effect: After her impressive debut against Giff in the previous episode, Invincible Jeanne gets utterly trounced by Juuga.
