Refusing to take on the role as a Kamen Rider, Ikki insists to his family that he has to take care of the bathhouse while Yukimi is healing. The Deadmans strike once again at a driving range, forcing Ikki to transform once again. Despite his good intentions, Vice's demonic desires cause tension between the both of them. Will these two be able to work together despite the strange circumstances they are in?

Tropes

  • Cycle of Revenge: The caddie Ibata getting fired by his Bad Boss Araki led to his encounter with the Deadmans and creating the Kamakiri Deadman for revenge. After it was defeated, Araki himself (with a little push from Vice) sought out the Deadmans to create his own Megalodon Deadman for revenge against Ibata.
  • Foreshadowing:
    • In The Teaser, in front of the bathhouse, the imperceptible Vice goes over to Daiji and comments that "Gloomy boys aren't in right now" which could've hint that Vice might have sense the emergence of Daiji's inner demon Kagero.
    • Araki attempted to activate his Vistamp once more to somehow give his Megalodon Deadman more power, but was stopped by Ibata before he could do so. A later episode revealed that if he had succeeded in doing so, he would have fused with and evolved his Deadman to its Phase 2 form.
  • Mundane Utility: Ikki accidentally activates his Vistamp on his regular bike, which then allows it to outrun Daiji's Cool Bike.
  • Sadistic Choice: Ikki gives one to Vice near the climax: either do what he says or risk watching him die against the Deadman untransformed (which would kill Vice as well). Since this is a no-win scenario for Vice, the latter swears loyalty to Ikki.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Ikki's family doesn't actually know about Vice, so Ikki's conversations with him make it seem like that he's actually talking to them. Understandably, they are a bit unsettled by his random outbursts caused by Vice.
  • Unfortunate Character Design: Invoked. While in Revice Rex Remix form, Vice is positioned with his face in Revi's butt.
Vice: [turns to the camera] Why do I have to be on the bottom?!
  • We ARE Struggling Together: Ikki has to keep Vice in line multiple times throughout the episode, mostly due to the latter doing demon things that don't help the former save people from the Deadmans.
