Kaeloo attempts to teach her friends about the differences between boys and girls, but soon finds out that none of her outdated stereotypes about the two genders actually fit them.
"Let's Play Boys-Girls" contains the following tropes:
- All Women Love Shoes: Played With. Women do like shoes, but so do men.
- Frying Pan of Doom: Bad Kaeloo beats Mr. Cat up with a frying pan.
- Insane Troll Logic: Kaeloo accuses Mr. Cat of "thinking backward" when he makes a sexist remark about women. His response is that he can't be "backward" because he doesn't hate gay people.
- Irony: The episode starts with Kaeloo trying to get everyone to play together and ends with her ignoring everyone except Mr. Catnote . Lampshaded by Pretty.
- Spoiled Brat: Pretty is rude to her mom and refuses to listen to her.
- Stay in the Kitchen: Mr. Cat says that he believes that girls and women should cook and do housework. He puts a bow and an apron on Kaeloo, makes her stand in the kitchen and asks her to cook something while he sits on the couch and watches sports on TV. Kaeloo doesn't take this very well - she winds up Hulking Out and then chasing him around with the frying pan.
