The main four want to Make a Wish on a magical shooting star, but in order to do so, they must stay up all night.
"Let's Play Don't Go to Sleep" contains the following tropes:
- Blatant Lies: Mr. Cat tells Kaeloo that he didn't get the chance to meet the fairy and make a wish. The results of his wish are right there behind him.
- Hypocritical Humor: Mr. Cat assures the rest of the main four that they won't even be able to stay awake for an hour, but he ends up being the first to fall asleep.
- Irony: The only person who gets their wish granted is Mr. Cat, who was also the only one who didn't actually bother to even try to stay awake.
- Make a Wish: Kaeloo, Stumpy, and Quack Quack try to stay up late so they can see a shooting star and make a wish on it. Kaeloo and Quack Quack fall asleep, Stumpy stays up but is so tired that he wastes his wish on asking for a bed, and Mr. Cat (who just happened to be awake at the time) asks for his own bar and several clones of Kaeloo.
- Snot Bubble: Mr. Cat gets one the first time he falls asleep.
- Sleep Cute: Kaeloo falls asleep next to Mr. Cat and they end up snuggling.
- Tempting Fate: Kaeloo attempting to tell Stumpy that she can stay awake.Kaeloo: I can stay up all the way until ten o'clock!
looks at clock
Kaeloo: Oh, it's ten o'clock!
Kaeloo falls asleep - Throw the Dog a Bone: Mr. Cat gets his wish granted.
- When He Smiles: Mr. Cat's smile when he wakes up to find Kaeloo snuggling with him is a genuine smile that shows that he's touched.
