With Dr. Turner seriously injured, the campers have learned that Kash has the only phone on the island. The group splits up to get her first aid supplies, and steal Kash's phone, dodging B.R.A.D.s all the way. Meanwhile, Kash has some of his drones take Big Eatie away from her daughter for reasons unknown...
- Bad People Abuse Animals: Kash enjoys the spectacle of forcing Big Eatie and Pierce to fight each other and clearly has no concern for their suffering.
- Beastly Bloodsports: Kash sends Pierce and Big Eatie up against each other in a fight to the death.
- Can't Stop the Signal: Darius manages to send a call to his older brother Brandon out from Kash's phone. While Kash grabs it back before he can say anything but "Hello", Brandon does hear that much, learning Darius is alive.
- Faint in Shock: Yaz's increasing trauma reactions hit a climax at the worst possible time, and she collapses before she can run to get past Pierce and Big Eatie.
- MacGuffin: Kash's phone, the only one on the island, which the campers intend to use to call for help.
- Sadistic Choice: Darius is forced to choose between saving Pierce and Big Eatie or getting a phone which he could use to call for help to finally get him and his friends home.
- We Need a Distraction: Ben, Yaz, and Sammy use a snowcat with oxygen bottles attached as a makeshift bomb to blow up the B.R.A.D. warehouse and lure Kash out of his bunker.
