- The Reveal:
- Rafael actually was the reason Michael got fired. He just paid someone else to go to the police and tell them what he'd found out.
- But Michael didn't really get fired; he's been undercover for the last six months.
- Snow Means Love: This Arc Symbol of Jane and Michael's crops up again when she bumps into him at the supermarket, she sees him through a flutter of artificial snow as part of the Christmas decorations.
- Terrible Interviewees Montage: When Jane, Rafael, and Xiomara are interviewing potential babysitters. In order, they go through a stern, emotionally cold sitter, a sitter who doesn't believe in diapers, and an attractive man who flirts with Xiomara, before finally settling on a retired Chilean pediatric nurse.
