Governor Croque has stolen a cashé of gold from America and it keeping it in his vault. It's up to the Daring Dragoon to pull a heist.

- Just Following Orders: While Emilie thinks of using the gold to set Annie's parents free, Jack would rather send it all back to America because the President told him to. He eventually relents and uses some of the gold to pay their bail.
- Pun: When Croque proposes a toast to himself, Jack calls it a "french toast."
- Schizo Tech: Croque's vault comes with a Clock Punk alarm that drops metal pearls into a pan when set off at the wrong time.
- Shout-Out: Jack refers to Annie as "Little Orphan Annie."
- Ungrateful Bitch: Jack and Emilie manage to save Annie from being executed by saving Croque (not to mention keeping Palau-Palau from getting a more dangerous Governor to replace him), she responds by trying to shoot them for ruining her vengeance.
