Strong Bad has decided to interview Homestar to find out what his "freakin' problem" is. As expected, the process is quite painful.
Tropes:
- Bavarian Fire Drill: Homestar manages to turn the tables on Strong Bad and try and interview him, though that could just be Homestar being Homestar.
- Call-Back: The eponymous interview takes place at Marshmallow's Last Stand.
- Comically Missing the Point: Homestar, repeatedly.Strong Bad: No, stupid, this is an interview!
Homestar: Oh, well allow me to introduce myself. My name is Homestar Runner, and I feel that I would be a great asset to your company. - Freeze-Frame Bonus: You can see the contents of Homestar's "resume" for a few seconds when Strong Bad holds it up (though parts of it are concealed by Strong Bad's hand and can only be seen with a Flash decompiler).eggs

jam - Hidden Depths: It turns out Strong Bad enjoys baking.
- Hypothetical Fight Debate: According to Homestar, The Cheat could beat Strong Sad "with both hands duct-taped behind his back, and little pieces of duct tape over his eyes, and Strong Sad can have a spear, even!"
- Know When to Fold Them: After managing to get a satisfactory answer out of one irrelevant question on whether Strong Sad or The Cheat would win in a fight, Strong Bad states it can only go downhill from here, so he cuts the interview and tells Homestar to get out of his face.
- Literal-Minded:Strong Bad: Okay, let's get down to brass tacks.
Homestar: Oh, I didn't bring any. I drove.
Strong Bad: Oh, this is gonna be painful...
Homestar: What, the tacks? I bet! Try not to sit on 'em. - Oh Wait, This Is My Grocery List: Homestar hands Strong Bad a "resume" that appears to be a shopping list.
