After Gretel and Nordle are being assigned together on a book report, a scone with evil energy (courtesy of the aliens) falls into Nordle's backpack. This causes a robot from Nordle's father, Professor Exclamation, to chase them after detecting evil energy from Nordle. Meanwhile, Kevin needs to take Hamster to the vet, which the pet hamster is very nervous about.
Tropes:
- Afraid of Doctors: Hamster is very afraid of the veterinarian, at least before the checkup.
- Anti-Climax: The B-plot about Hamster being terrified of the vet ends with the vet simply looking at him and saying, "you're fine".
- Drives Like Crazy: This is apparently the first time the female alien is flying the U.F.O., and it shows. Her male colleague doesn't miss his chance to snark at it.Male alien: Uh, did we just give evil powers to a breakfast pastry?Female alien: Hey, I'm still getting used to the controls!
- Exact Words: Professor Exclamation orders Tobor to "give the little girl whatever she wants." Gretel uses this to get Tobor out of the house so she can change into her superhero form by asking him to go buy some goat milk for her cereal.
- Freudian Excuse: Parodied. Professor Exclamation has no elbows, so he decided that "since I can't bend my arms, I will bend others to my evil will!"
- I Have No Son!: After Nordle chooses not to eat the evil scone, Professor Exclamation declares that his name will never be spoken again in this house. He then kindly asks Nordle to get ready for dinner.
- Internal Reveal: Gretel discovers that Professor Exclamation is Nordle's son, Likewise, Nordle realizes that his father is a supervillain; before this, he thought he was a tire salesman.
- Moral Dilemma: Nordle is thrusted into choosing either to eat the scone and become evil like his father, or destroy it and become friends with Gretel.
- Sdrawkcab Name: The robot servant of Professor Exclamation is named Tobor, which is "robot" spelled backwards.
- Super-Powered Robot Meter Maids: Tobor is pretty different from the exclamation bots from "Empower Failure", being a Killer Robot that can detect evil energy, but also listens to Professor Exclamation's more mundane tasks as if being a Robot Maid.
