Ten years after the release of Bowser's Mushroom Factory, Goomzilla is releasing the sequel. The plot is largely unchanged; after the Mario Bros. once again save the princess from Bowser, he gets the idea to empower himself with Mega Mushrooms—Super Mushrooms don't quite make the cut, you see. Thus, Bowser's Mushroom Factory was back in business, in the hopes of making that one particular mushroom—but it also produces Poison and Propeller Mushrooms too.

Curiosity once again leads the Mario Bros. to check out the new and improved factory, and nothing was stopping Mario from taking his newfound propeller suit for a spin. Word gets out that there were intruders in the factory, which sadly means Bowser has to postpone his island vacation to stop them.

But he doesn't have much luck, as Mario gets a hold of the Mega Mushroom, and proceeds to use it to destroy the factory once again—and escape Bowser's wrath once he changes back to normal size.

Tropes applying to Bowser's Mushroom Factory 2:

  • Accidental Pervert: Yoshi accidentally walks in on Peach while she's taking a bath.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It's unclear whether this is a straight sequel or a retelling of the original Bowser's Mushroom Factory. The lack of dialogue makes this especially confusing.
  • Art Evolution: The trailer wastes no time showing how far the setups for Goomzilla's videos have come.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The mushroom factory now produces Mega Mushrooms, which is the big reason Bowser wants to rebuild the factory from the ground up. Mario gets it instead.
  • Happy Ending: Maybe not so happy for Bowser, but this time, the Mario Bros. get to have their cake in addition to making it out of the Mushroom Factory safe and sound.
  • Hilarious Outtakes: At the end of the video.
  • Imagine Spot: Bowser imagines the havoc he could wreak if he got a hold of the Mega Mushroom. Thankfully, that fantasy never comes to pass.
  • Numbered Sequels: A first for Goomzilla.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • Bowser when he couldn't beat Mario to the Mega Mushroom. They played his "uh-oh" voice clip from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for this special occasion.
    • Mario when the Mega Mushroom's powers wear off right when he has Bowser cornered.
  • Sequel Episode: The episode is a sequel to Bowser's Mushroom Factory.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When cornered by Bowser, Luigi runs away, even though he could have easily tried to at least beat him to the Mega Mushroom, which Mario would later succeed in.
