Revival of the Fittest
is the 21st chapter of Glitter Force: Into the Glitterverse.
Glitterette sacrifices much of the Glitter Force to revive Joker, and now the Cures must all prepare for a final confrontation.
Tropes:
- All for Nothing: Cure Black says this nearly word-for-word when reprimanding Glitterette for reviving Joker.
- An Aesop: It's sad when people die, but even though we can't reverse it, we can still honour their memory.
- Bear Hug: When freed from the Glitter Force, Cure Peach hugs Cure Berry and Cure Pine so hard, she lifts them off the ground.
- Disney Death: Thanks to the Glitter Force, Joker's death is very short-lived.
- Production Foreshadowing: Cure Whip mentions that her Whip Decoration makes Joker gag. Later on, in Twinkling in the Dark, Joker suffers several bouts of nausea specifically because of fighting against Cure Whip.
- Something Only They Would Say: Cure Black realizes that Cure Precious is no longer infected when she hears her use her team's original names instead of their Glitter Force names.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Cure Moonlight asks this of Glitterette once Joker is revived.
- Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises: Cure Moonlight gets these when Joker confronts her about her murder attempt.
