Original air date: 9/29/2022

Sam and Jay welcome their first guess since the floor incident, which earned their B&B a one-star review on Yelp, but the ghosts become suspicious of the new guests' overly friendly demeanor; Nigel confides to Isaac how he feels about Thorfinn energetically disrupting their TV time, and when Isaac asks Thor to be more quiet, the latter angrily leaves for the cholera group.

Tropes:

  • Bait-and-Switch: After falling into the basement, Jay thinks he might be able to see ghosts too. He stands in front of Pete and appears to see him, which excites them both. Unfortunately, Jay is actually seeing a delivery man behind Pete, and walks through Pete to greet who he thinks is the real Pete.
  • Blatant Lies: Tom and Debbie make an excuse that a hacker did their horrible Yelp reviews when they found out that they aren't anonymous even though Sam and Jay know that isn't true and the couple is just doing damage control to save faces.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Sam and Jay's B&B finally gets a 5-star review by the end, but not without some blackmailing.
  • Moment Killer: Thorfinn, whenever Nigel and Isaac try to have a moment.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Isaac inadvertently hurts Thorfinn's feelings when he tells him that Nigel thinks that he is disruptive.
  • Oh, Crap!: Tom and Debbie when they realize their Yelp accounts are not anonymous, meaning that all the businesses they've given bad reviews to, including those of people they know, know who they are.
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Both Thorfinn and Nigel are absolutely fascinated by ants.
  • Technologically Blind Elders: When Tom and Debbie learn that their Yelp reviews aren't anonymous, Tom immediately wants to get the reviews offline by unplugging their laptop.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Nigel is lamenting to Isaac that Thorfinn constantly interrupts their time together, so when Isaac tells Thor about this, he is none too happy about it and moves downstairs.
