Adelgund shows Muko the difference between an amateur and a champion Combagal with her Dog Drop move.

The Masato Match starts with Muko fighting Adelgund on her own. She's is scared out of her mind as Adelgund easily dominates her. Despite this, Muko is unwilling to lose her first match, and she uses the techniques Cookie taught her to hold her own.

  • Berserk Button: The new member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves dislikes being called "newbie".
  • Boring Yet Practical: Cookie calls the drop kick and the clothesline boring techniques because of how basic they are. However, she considers them useful because they're easy to learn and still get the job done.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Adelgund has a few personal moves and she likes to shout out their names when performing them.
  • Diving Kick: Muko learned a drop kick from Cookie during the week between their first meeting and the match.
  • Hoist Hero over Head: Adelgund's Dog Drop has her pick up Muko over her head and slam her to the ground. Played With as Adelgund is a Face who happens to fight Muko rather than a villain.
  • Human Hammer-Throw: Adelgund spins Muko around and then throws her to the mat.
  • Kick the Dog: Despite seeing that Muko wasn't having fun fighting Adelgund, Nyarai did not tag her in, letting her suffer for a bit just to watch her suffer. Cookie even notices mentally that what Nyarai did was unnecessary.
  • Ms. Exposition: One of the older members of the Exe-Cutie-Ves explains the meaning of overselling (making it obvious to the audience that you're faking being hit or affected by your opponent's techniques) to the new one.
  • Super-Hearing: Thanks to her long ears, Muko notices that Adelgund didn't hurt her with her Dog Drop and that the sound she heard was Adelgund slapping the mat really hard with her arm.
  • "Take That!" Kiss: Adelgund gives Muko a peck in the cheek after pinning her to the mat. Muko breaks out of her hold and kicks her in the face out of sheer horror.
  • Theatrics of Pain: Besides being a good wrestler, Adelgund knows how to entertain. She can make power moves look realistic without hurting Muko. She can also take Muko's blows while still maintaining enough realism to deceive the audience into thinking Muko is strong.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Muko managed to learn a few wrestling techniques from Cookie during the week leading up to the Masato match. This includes a drop kick, a clothesline, and a cross body pin.
