• Career-Ending Injury: Toby and Tina's coach, Natasha, was a competitive ballroom dancer until she injured her leg. Turns out it was psychological and she was completely fine, but by the time she made up with her partner, she realized she trained her students too well and needed to sabotage them.
• Central Theme: Trust. Tina's trust in her dance partner is broken when he is suspected of stealing the smoits, and in the end, when he's ultimately proven innocent, decides the smoits have caused too many problems and throws them all away, restoring the relationship between the two.
