Recap / Family Guy S 11 E 14 Call Girl

Go To

Lois gets a job as a phone sex operator — and Peter finds himself falling for her voice.

Examples:

  • All Jews Are Cheapskates: Lois calls Mort Goldman, who is shown to have a money fetish.
  • Beat Without a "But": When Peter is saying bye to his family as he's about to leave and have an affair, he says to Chris, "Chris, people are gonna tell you that you're stupid and that you're no good.", seemingly about to follow it up with something to make Chris feel better, but he ends it there and walks away.
  • Double-Meaning Title: "Call girl" refers to Lois calling people and is also slang for a sex worker.
  • Dumbass Has a Point: While Peter was in the wrong for wanting to have an affair with Lois, since he didn't actually have an affair, he really can't be called an adulterer. Plus, Lois never tells Peter it was her the whole time.
  • Greedy Jew: Peter steals a bike from a Jewish man. His lawyer informs Peter that his client is Jewish and will thus be suing Peter for everything he's worth.
  • Here We Go Again!: Peter racked up a $7000 phone bill and tells Lois she might have to become a full-on prostitute.
  • Mad Libs Catchphrase: In a Cutaway Gag where Peter gets explosive diarrhea, Peter is heard saying, "Brown house!"
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: When Lois goes to meet Peter, disguised as her phone sex persona, all she does is put on a little black dress and a blonde wig. This is somehow enough to fool Peter, until she doffs the wig after they have sex. Also, though she does little to disguise her distinctive voice, somehow not only Peter but Quagmire fails to recognize her.
  • Parental Sexuality Squick: Lois and Peter gross out Chris and Meg by talking in front of them about how much they want to have rough sex. Averted with Stewie, who offers to join in.
  • Speed Sex: Inverted; if Robert Loggia is to be believed, Peter and Lois had sex for eight hours.
  • Technology Marches On: In-universe. The manager at the phone sex operation instructs Lois not to mention the internet or computers to any of her clients because it will destroy the business.
  • Two-Person Love Triangle: Peter doesn't know that the phone sex operator is Lois, but he still falls for her, enough to want to meet her in person and cheat on Lois.
