A brand new Holly.

Holly: I have to write about this for the G.D. Archives, but I need a good title. How about "The Second Coming of Holly Marten?" Or is it the third? Nah, that sounds pretentious. And borderline offensive. I'll stick with something scientific.

Jack's romantic honeymoon idea leaves much to be desired. Holly's new body experiences some teething problems, and Jo and Andy stumble on an investigation begun by Jack's predecessor.

Tropes

  • Batman Gambit: After the spy sabotages the hologram that could have identified them, Jo uses Vincent to spread the word that the hologram will soon be fixed. She and Henry then lie in wait for the spy to come and finish the job. It's Grace.
  • Call-Back:
  • Everyone Has Standards: When asked why she was working for Beverly, Grace tells Henry she used to agree with the Consortium's goal of controlling scientific research, but had broken with them before the Astreus mission because she was put off by some of Beverly's actions.
  • Gossipy Hens: When Vincent overhears Jo and Andy talking about a potential Consortium spy in Eureka, it's not long before the entire town knows.
Vincent: I am the eyes and ears of this town!
    Jo: And the mouth, apparently!
  • Heel Realisation: Downplayed. At the end of the episode, Allison finds Carter fixing the cabin roof and apologises for yelling at him before, saying that after seeing what Henry and Fargo are going through with their partners (new-body teething issues, treason), a well-meant if horribly-executed honeymoon doesn't seem so bad.
  • Horrible Camping Trip: Cabin variant. The cabin Carter takes Allison to for their honeymoon is ten minutes from town and belonged to Carter's predecessor. Its roof caves in, it has no water until Carter fixes the pump, and then it dumps muddy water on Allison when she tries to take a shower. Finally, the cooler with their food in it isn't sealed and gets ants, prompting Allison to finally break and rant about what a horrible cabin it is and how she would rather have gone to Fiji.
  • Oh, Crap!: After Allison's rant about how awful the cabin is, Carter whips out his PDA and turns it on (they've been off-grid since arriving), intending to get tickets somewhere nicer. Instead, his PDA blows up with messages about a spy at GD.
Carter: I think we're missing something.
  • Sanity Slippage: Holly's download into her new body doesn't go well, making her increasingly unsure what's real. The confusion culminates in her threatening Jack with his own gun, mistaking him for his NPC double who killed her.
  • Seen It All: Discussed when a newly-downloaded Holly goes missing.
Fargo: People are going to freak if they see her back from the dead!
Zane: It's Global Dynamics. They've seen worse.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The title obviously references The Honeymooners.
    • Fairy tales such as Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are referenced when Holly wakes up just after Fargo kisses her.
    • Holly's second resurrection echoes Frankenstein movies.
  • Tempting Fate: Allison and Carter are too quick to celebrate when Carter fixes the water pump. Allison's shower is soon ruined when she's plastered with muddy water.
  • That One Case: The spy hunt Carter finds a file for is implied to have been this trope for Carter's predecessor.
  • Wham Line: When Henry presses her for the identity of her co-conspirator in passing information to Beverly, Grace has a surprise for him.
Grace: You. You introduced me to Beverly. You taught me everything I know.
