After Barbara humiliates herself by farting at a school assembly, she uses Barry's powers to go back in time and save her reputation, and then all manner of other mundane goals.
Tropes:
- Alliance of Alternates: Eventually, two huge armies of alternate-reality Barbaras end up fighting each other over whether to prevent the fart or not.
- Butterfly of Doom: Babs not embarrassing herself in front of the school leads to the world being destroyed. Best not to ask how.
- Call-Back: Every outfit and gear that Barbara wore in previous episodes and shorts reappear being worn by alternate-reality Barbaras.
- Crazy-Prepared: Batgirl just has a non-bean burrito in her pocket she can substitute for the one that made her fart at the assembly. She carries an arsenal of different burritos around, all the time, apparently. But considering the hero she's patterned after, this makes a comical kind of sense.
- Curse Cut Short: Or the G-rated equivalent. Barbara shuts down Oliver's singing before he can complete the word "farted".
- End of the World as We Know It: Perhaps inevitably what all their playing around in time and space leads to.
- Mundane Utility: Babs uses the ability to travel through time to do stuff like buy a collector's edition comic on opening day, keep from being splashed with mud, and see a classic movie in the theater.
- Mythology Gag: A couple of the alternate-reality Barbaras are wearing Batgirl costumes in colors that haven't appeared in this show, but from the comics.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: What Babs has to decide to do after seeing the results of her temporal meddling.
- Skewed Priorities: Babs refuses to restore the original timeline where she farts in an assembly, even though all their meddling with time alternately means General Zod has taken over the world or Starro is almost finished destroying civilization. Even when she agrees to do it, she's caught in the middle of an army of Alternate Self versions who don't care that not farting that one time means the end of the world.
