Now loading tropes:

  • Blatant Lies: Heinrich himself lampshades his tendency to blatantly say things he doesn't mean.
  • Disney Villain Death: This is what seems to happen to Heinrich when he is pushed into the volcano by Jessica. However, a quick scene after the end title card shows he is fine (other than being mutated into a chocolate monster).
  • Dude, Not Funny!: Numbuh 2's final joke is treated this way by Numbuh 5.
  • Fisher Kingdom: Without Mr. Fluffleupagus, the entire "kingdom" of the First Grade class becomes a barren desert, not to mention the first-graders are dressed in rags. Once the bunny is returned to the first graders, their domain is returned to its former glory and so are the first-graders.
  • Friend-or-Idol Decision: Jessica finds herself having to make a choice between her stuffed toy (even though it's been turned to chocolate) and saving Numbuh 2, 5, and the class bunny.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Heinrich plans to turn Mr. Fluffalupagus into chocolate by dipping him in the volcano. In the end, it is Heinrich himself who falls in and becomes a chocolate monster as a result.
  • I Lied: Heinrich's response when Jessica reminds him he said he wouldn't take her Hopsy Mopsy stuffed bunny.
"Ach, liebchen, I say so many things I do not mean."
  • The Prophecy: On that morning, a first grader drew a picture prophesying that Numbuh 2 and 5 would save Mr. Fluffleupagus.
  • Raiders of the Lost Parody: This time, the writers mostly stick to a single movie: Temple of Doom.
  • Sequel Hook: After "end transmission", we see a chocolate hand ominously grab the ledge of the cliff, and the shadow of a chocolate-covered Heinrich laugh maniacally to himself.
  • Skewed Priorities: When Numbuh 5 tells Numbuh 2 to make a plan to distract Heinrich, all he cares about is getting a taste of chocolate from the volcano. Still, he ends up distracting the bad guys anyway.
  • Stealth Pun: Possibly accidental: one of the Heinrich's pseudo-Thuggees attacks Numbuh 2 with a machinegun that uses lollipops for bullets. Would you believe a single name can apply to both?
  • Sweet and Sour Grapes: Seemingly, Jessica's stuffed toy is lost to the chocolate lava when she chooses to save Numbuhs 2 and 5 and Mr. Fluffleupagus. But thankfully, Numbuh 5 saved the toy bunny for Jessica. In the end, after Mr. Fluffleupagus is returned, Jessica's toy bunny is restored from its chocolate state.
  • World-Healing Wave: Created by Mr. Fluffleupagus when he's returned to the first-graders.
  • You Said You Would Let Them Go: Jessica helps Henrich find the chocolate volcano on the promise he wouldn't destroy her stuffed bunny toy only for him to dip it anyway.
