Lelouch makes his debut as Zero, the masked revolutionary, and the Autobots make their stand against Britannia.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Optimus delivers this to Suzaku as the latter returns to his court-martial.Optimus: You say Britannia can change for the better. What if you go down this path...and you're wrong?
- Broken Masquerade:
- The Autobots reveal themselves on live television during the mission to rescue Suzaku, which is a major deviation from virtually every series they've been in (excluding Transformers: Animated).
- Additionally, they also reveal that Britannia is being backed by the Decepticons.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The rescue of Suzaku Kururugi provides the first showcase of how woefully outclassed rank-and-file Knightmare Frames are to Cybertronians.
- Exact Words: Inverted. When Jeremiah demanded that Zero "remove [the] mask", Zero briefly looks like he's about to comply before signaling for the rest of Team Prime to reveal themselves to the convoy and basically to the rest of humanity.
- Humiliation Conga: As in canon, the Purebloods are exposed for their framing of Suzaku and are utterly subdued by the Autobots with no casualties. Cliffjumper even warned them to hand over Suzaku and spare themselves the conga and "escape with their dignity."
- Mythology Gag:
- Optimus' Armor-Piercing Question to Suzaku is near word for word identical to one he made in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.
- Some of the dialogue during the Pureblood standoff are lifted directly from a similar scene from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
- Nerdgasm: Lloyd has another upon seeing the Autobot team reveal themselves.
- Not So Stoic: Even Tohdoh is stunned by the Autobots’ debut.
- This Cannot Be!: Starscream is completely surprised seeing Optimus Prime alive, as he honestly believed the Autobot leader was dead.
- What the Hell Are You?: Jeremiah’s reaction (hell, the whole world's reaction) to the Autobots is this.
