Having exterminated Clovis, Lelouch meets up with the Autobots, where he learns the truth behind Britannia's rise to power and the Cybertronian War.
- Everyone Has Standards: After Lelouch explains his backstory to the Autobots, how he and Nunnally were exiled by their father after the death of their mother, and Charles basically told Lelouch that he has always been dead to him, all of the Autobots are horrified to hear this and completely sympathize for Lelouch, with Bulkhead, Ironhide, and Arcee even willing to Groundbridge directly to the palace and blow it all up for what happened. Lelouch is completely shocked that the Autobots are so sympathetic to him they would be willing to storm the palace for him.
- Likewise, Lelouch is quick to shoot down the Autobot's offer to take out Charles on the grounds of there being too much collateral damage (see Simple Solution Won't Work).
- Not His Sled: Instead of using his Geass on Sayoko, Lelouch has Bumblebee play the recording of him to fool Kallen in the shower.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Bumblebee masquerades as Lelouch's car, with Lelouch claiming that Bee is what he spent his gambling money on. Most people believed him.
- Simple Solution Won't Work: When Ironhide, Arcee, and Bulkhead offer to Groundbridge over to Pendragon to take out Charles, Lelouch turns them down, pointing out how the resulting succession crisis, combined with Britannia's 0% Approval Rating with the other superpowers would just cause far more problems than solve.
