Milo and Wendell are complaining about who has the tougher, more challenging life – so the two decide to trade places for a whole day. Off they go, determined to prove to the other that their own lives are much more difficult… Well, Wendell of course, realizes that helping kids in trouble isn't as easy as he thought. Plus he never knows what the heck his birdbrain is talking about. Meanwhile, Milo discovers that everything in Wendell's life seems to be just 1/8 of an inch out of his reach. Will they walk away with new respect for their once-despised rival? Not likely.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Bookends: The episode starts off with Milo and Wendell suggesting to switch their lives for a day to prove that their own lives are difficult. After getting their lives back the way it was at the end of the episode after Milo admitting that he can't handle switching their lives as it could result on Wendell to become to new Captain to help kids in trouble instead of him, Wendell's robotic butler Robo Jeeves suggests to him to switch lives for a day since he can handle it unlike Milo.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Although Wendell managed to find an item from Milo's Power Pack that can stop Tabitha's baby brother Tucker from crying which was a rubber chicken, solving Tabitha's problem, he realizes that he couldn't have done it without Lizbeth and starts to fall in love with her and decides to keep his job as the Captain, which makes her very angry. This lead to Milo realizing that switching lives for a day was a bad idea because although he does like his new life, having Wendell becoming the new Captain and steal Lizbeth to become his sidekick causes him to not take it anymore, and decides to take back their lives.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Even without his Captain Flamingo suit, Milo still uses his "Bird Brain" anyways as Lizbeth tells him that she can't handle it anymore with Wendell. He mishears her as he was thinking that he can't handle switching lives anymore but the plan eventually worked anyways as he admitted to Wendell that switching their lives was a bad idea, which led them to take their lives back the way it was before.
  • I Can't Hear You: When Lizbeth asks Milo if she wonders if he's a bit jealous of Wendell put on a big show for her while washing his Captain Flamingo outfit with a hose to get rid of the Wendell stank after he uses it the outfit to switch lives for a day.
Lizbeth: Milo, I was wondering, were you a teeny bit jealous when Wendell put on that big show for me? Even a smidge?
Milo: Huh? What? I can't hear you.
    Lizbeth: Hmm, thought so.
  • Recycled Soundtrack: Wendell gets distracted by listening to a snippet of disco music on his headphones instead of helping Tabitha to find a way to stop her baby brother Tucker from crying. The disco music used here was recycled from "A Boy and His Yeti", where it was also used when the Yellow Gulch Yeti starts dancing disco in order to stop Wendell from finding him.
  • Robot Maid: Wendell has a robot butler in his room named Robo Jeeves, which Milo briefly has after moving in to his room since he decided with Wendell to switch their lives for a day.
  • Spraying Drink from Nose: Happens to Lizbeth in a flashback where Milo recounts some of her bad memories in order to give reasons why Wendell should not have a crush with her.
  • Swapped Roles: Milo and Wendell decide to trade places for a whole day to prove that their own lives are much more difficult. This led to Milo to live in Wendell's room while Wendell becomes the Captain.

Milo's finally taking possession of the Transmorpho Champ 6000 robot toy, the most complicated toy ever built! Milo is just wading through massive manual when - Uh oh! A kid in trouble! It's Otto, and he's having trouble with his older brother and his teenage buddies again. Otto's been asked by his folks to rake the leaves in the yard, but every time he gets them into a nice big pile, along come his teenage brothers and splat! Will that new Transmorpho Champ 6000 help save the day?

Tropes in this episode:

  • Continuity Nod: During the Narrator's So Once Again, the Day Is Saved moment, Milo uses his remote control to transform a Gorgon into something different. He then transforms him into the alley monster from "Alley Oops!", then transforms him into the Yellow Gulch Yeti from "A Boy and His Yeti", before finally transforming it into a stack of leaves, which Milo then jumps over.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • To stop Otto's brothers from jumping over the stacks of leaves that Otto raked, Milo tries to turn his Transmorpho Champ 6000 into a leaf blower or a super sonic rake but since he pressed too many random buttons to make it randomly transform as a result of not the reading the instructions, it transforms into a robotic teenager instead which led to the robot to jump leaves with Otto's brothers. Once he continues pressing random buttons causing the robot to transform into different things, it leads to the robot to turn into killer robot Gorgon which then leads to the robot chasing him, Lizbeth and Otto to prevent Gorgon from eating them.
    • Milo then feeds Gorgon some books as an appetizer in order to not eat humans and it can give him time to figure out how to transform Gorgon back to his normal robot. However, he's actually feeding him his Transmorpho Champ 6000 instruction manuals to Gorgon, which was pretty much the only way to transform him back to normal.
    • Milo tries to continue pressing more buttons to see if it can make Gorgon move out of the way. However, it instead causes all of the Transmorpho Bot's to be activated, also turning into more Gorgons in the process.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Lizbeth cannot think of a solution as she doesn't know cheesy sci-fi horror novels too much as a result of her not reading more junk. However, Milo mishears her in his "Bird Brain" that he only has the read his remote control as he didn't read the instructions for his robot. He then finds out that there was an off button in the controller the entire time, which led him to push the button to turn Gorgon back into a normal robot. To get rid of the rest of the Gorgons, Milo also has two more extra remote controllers to give to Lizbeth and Otto to revert the Gorgons back into normal robots, which they succeeded.
  • Killer Robot: After Milo presses too many random buttons for his Transmorpho Champ 6000 as a result of not reading the instructions for it, the robot turns into Gorgon, a killer robot to likes to eat humans.
  • Read the Freaking Manual: Since Milo's Transmorpho Champ 6000 has a total of 12 manuals of instructions for the toy, he decides to not read any of it as he felt that the manuals is only for people who can't figure out themselves. As a result of not reading any of the manuals for the toy, it led to him not knowing how to use it properly and causes him to press random buttons on his remote control to make it transform into different things, which lead to it transforming into killer robot Gorgon, which then starts to chase him, Lizbeth and Otto.
  • Wrong Turn at Albuquerque: Even though Gorgon has ate up all of the instructions manuals for Milo's Transmorpho Champ 6000, Lizbeth sees that there is a button in the back of Milo's remote control for the robot in case of eating instruction manuals. Milo then presses it and it was revealed to be showing directions to the Transmorpho Champ Factory, which is pointing west. This lead to them going around different countries while being chased by Gorgon. It was then revealed that the factory is located east of Otto's house, despite the screen telling to point west, but it turns out that he was holding it upside down, causing them to go around in a circle.
