Well, let's see. We have several Good Colors, Evil Colors tropes. We have hints of Obviously Evil and Sensible Heroes, Skimpy Villains going on. There could be some Inverted Tropes going on, as another commenter points out.

The problem with a lot of these tips is how heavily jargonized they are by TV Tropes lingo ... A show like [Dorohedoro] could only exist beyond the frameworks of protagonist-antagonist, villain-hero, redemption arc, like all of this jargon that Lily Orchard believes is the rigid structure of storytelling. Only because they've been trapped in this fandom bubble where that's all amateurs talk about, amateurs who have done nothing.
