Khôra Podcast is an adaption of Greek myths set in space and featuring all the ladies who deserved better. It is created by Trenchcoat & Co Productions and can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube, Stitcher, RadioPublic, and Google Podcasts.
Khôra contains examples of:
- Adaptational Nice Guy: While many adaptions portray Medea as villainous, Khôra has her as one of the main characters and so is much more sympathetic. She's really more Morally Gray than anything.
- Artificial Intelligence: ECHO, Eurydice.
- Butch Lesbian: Atalanta describes herself as a "battle-scarred butch."
- Cyborg: Medusa's hair is made of wires. They emit electricity based on her emotions.
- Interplanetary Voyage: The main characters travel between planets on the Argo in search of the FLCC.
- MacGuffin: The Freelance Care Compendium (FLCC) is a chip that contains cures for countless human ailments, originally retrieved by Jason. The Argo crew wants to find it before Apollo can.
- Magic from Technology: Many mythological figures and creatures have tech that replaces their magical features, such as Medusa's snake hair being wire implants.
- Mechanical Monster: Asterion.
- MegaCorp: Olympus Corporation. Its daughter companies have hands in every aspect of
- Our Gods Are Different: Unclear exactly what route they're going to take with this but judging by Apollo these are not your typical Greek gods.
- Robo Sexual: The human pilot Orpheus is in a romantic relationship with her ship's AI, Eurydice.
- Sapient Ship: NYMPH artificial intelligence programs on ships speak to and befriend the people on board.
- Space Pirates: Andromeda and her sisters.
