- Parodied: Cartoon Carter has the power of Toon Physics, effectively making him an Invincible Hero.
- Zig Zagged: While Monkey Master has the power to control all the apes and humans in the world, he himself is a Squishy Wizard who doesn't have much physical combat capabilities. Also, his powers have a weakness where washing his minions with water immediately wears off the effects.
- Averted: Alice is simply a Muggle.
- Enforced: The author wants to create an incredibly challenging villain for the hero to fight.
- Lampshaded: "Be careful of Atomic Alice, her powers are really destructive."
- Implied: Atomic Alice never appears on screen, but all the villains are very wary of her.
