Considering the very premise of the series revolves around being trapped on an island which is isolated from the rest of the world and controlled by sinister organizations and entities, it's no wonder even the content creators involved get QSMP-based nightmares.
- As if being trapped on a mysterious island run by The Federation wasn't enough, it later turns out said Federation is not above kidnapping, manipulating, and even killing the island residents for their goals.
- The Federation's goal is to make the island as "perfect" as possible, going as far as to make every single one of the faceless workers to be the same with the ranking system. It is eventually revealed that many of the D-ranking workers were slaughtered for those who failed while those who ranked up to C have to be "proven" by the Federation in order to be ranked up again to B.
- Not even the eggs are safe from getting kidnapped… in fact, they are all kidnapped three times.
- The first time, they were locked away in a mysterious dungeon where they would be released at random, requiring the players to all work together to free all the kids.
- The second time, it was during the days leading up to the Brazilians' arrival. The players were met with an ominous message about how "nothing lasts forever", heavily implying something terrible was going to happen to their children when the six-day timer reached its end. On the start of the next day after the timer, all of the children were nowhere to be seen, until the guests were led back to the Adoption Center where their eggs were being held — albeit now with cracks on their eggshells and clearly traumatized from being kidnapped once more.
- The third time happened after the prisoners were saved by the guests. However because Tubbo died before he and the prisoners were saved while German was killed by one of the guests before they could leave, the punishment varies from all players with the worst punishment being the eggs getting abducted with little warning. The amount of attachment the parents have with the eggs is especially heartbreaking, with a select few going through terrifying degrees of insanity, let alone causing harm to other island residents and guests alike as well.
- Quackity's kidnapping. During the ceremony for Roier and Cellbit's wedding on June 16th, Quackity is lead away by Cucurucho into the Federation building. He is then left in a room where the floor is suddenly retracted from underneath him, and he falls down into the water below. If it weren't for Jaiden noticing Quackity walking off, no one would've ever known that he had been taken. It only gets worse when it's finally revealed what happened to him two months later when he finally resurfaces from the water: unlike the other kidnapping victims, who return mostly intact, Quackity is much worse for wear. Gradually, it's revealed that whatever the Federation had done to him in those two months has left Quackity unable to coherently read written text, unable to write legibly, and destroyed a majority of his key memories from his time on the island — he is also only able to speak in Spanish, implying his ability to speak in English has been wiped as well. It's all equally heartbreaking as it is horrifying.
- Somehow, it gets even worse. Given that Quackity can no longer read, every conversation he has must be spoken verbally, meaning the Federation can monitor every single thing he hears. In other words, they have completely removed his capacity to have conversations in private.
- Even worse, Quackity got kidnapped the second time by his counterpart, ElQuackity shortly before Halloween night and this time ElQuackity will assure Quackity will not have a chance to be saved again. Even though there's underlines of sympathy, it's hard to feel sorry when ElQuackity has done some nasty things, including kidnapping Dapper and killing an unknown egg.
- Jaiden getting kidnapped and Etoiles getting locked in the Nether are uniquely horrific in that unlike everyone else, no one was there to witness them get taken. While Etoiles was ultimately fine, Jaiden's condition is currently still unknown as of time of writing.
