In general
- Noroi-chan herself. An ichimatsu doll with a hollowed-out stomach and red paint on her skin to resemble bloodstains. While she appears more cute than creepy when seen in bright lighting, she is absolute nightmare fuel when seen in darker, blood-red lighting, where it even looks like either her eyes are completely black or she has no eyes at all.
Queen Ant A-chan's Egg Diary
- Beside the fake buffering that can throw people off-guard (though it wouldn't work with newer versions of YouTube), Episode 14 has several Jump Scares of Noroi-chan suddenly appearing around the black border of the video of the ants, accompanied by loud bangs on wood and creepy moaning. Not only this but towards the end, while another fake buffering is seen, she appears yet again, shaking around and almost menacingly staring at the viewers.
COOKING IDOL
- The entirety of the video is seen in dark, blood-red lighting, and various unsettling sounds are heard from the reversed and distorted Edo Lullaby singing to what seems like sobbing and laughter dotted throughout.
- There are two Jump Scares in this video, both being closeups of Noroi-chan's face accompanied with the sound of a loud bang.
- Noroi-chan's singing and dancing routine. Several of the sounds mentioned above accumulate throughout the scene as the doll swerves and shakes around until it ends with the second Jump Scare.
POKOPOKOPIKOTAN
- If you thought this was going to be a cute stop motion video, think again. Throughout the video, a hand appears and slowly starts to ruin the background, eventually becoming more violent later on and attacking the characters that A-tan and Piko-tan play with. Eventually the hand starts going after the girls themselves.
- Gross sounds can be heard when the hand used a scalpel to stab the characters.
- When the hand offers Piko-tan a candy and she accepts it, the hand grabs her by the head and decapitates her, leaving her body to run around the background in a panic.
- The whole background is destroyed and only A-tan is left, crying and has her right hand covered in blood. The hand reappears with a cigarette and burns her to ash with it, then steps on her burnt remains like a mere bug.
pokopokoshopping
- As the video progresses, the shop itself and its contents gradually start to get covered in blood, with a closeup of the clock having one drop of blood run down its face from the middle 6 at where the 12 is supposed to be. Eventually thanks to the "6" candles lying around, they start lighting things up on fire until it's all extinguished. But what comes next is pure Nausea Fuel: once Noroi-chan's internal organs are introduced, the burnt-up shop background starts to gradually become covered in them, complete with gross goopy sounds.
- The lamb plushie suddenly splits in half, with its front half often moseying around throughout the video. It also gets singed at one point during the video.
My house walk-through
- Not only is the walkthrough of the house an Unnaturally Looping Location, it progressively deteriorates over time. The walls start becoming covered in cobwebs, the sutra becomes more and more distorted, and lo and behold do the grandmother and grandfather the narrator has mentioned finally appear… as rotting corpses.
