  • Azuma following Tasuku into the Unopening Door room, saying that Tasuku could always use a company. Tasuku is none too pleased and snapped, but then apologized. He also acknowledged that Azuma was the one who could always use a company, not him.
  • Azuma thanking Tasuku for finding the hair comb from his brother. If Tasuku hadn't found it, it'd have disappeared forever when Azuma's family house was destroyed. Tasuku told him to take good care of it.
  • Azuma is afraid of bugs, but Guy evolves into beetle Digimon. Azuma is willing to make an exception because it's Guy.
  • Guy and Homare talking about fishing and emotion. Homare was sad at how he couldn't understand the emotion behind fishing, but Guy told Homare that it was okay because Homare never fished, just like how Guy never composed poems. Guy couldn't possibly understand the emotion behind composing poems like Homare could.
  • Knowing Azuma's past, as the exploration team departed to Lava Cave, Tasuku reassured Azuma that they'd come back. His reason of not wanting anyone to dawdle? Not because of his heavy backpack, even if that was what he said, but because of Azuma. He later blurted out that they shouldn't make Azuma wait for too long.
  • Tasuku trying his best to reassure Homare that for all his and Hisoka's vitriol towards him, they loved him a lot. So in case Homare evolved to his Beast Form and couldn't control himself, he shouldn't hesitate to seek them for help. Whatever he did, they'd still love him and try to help him regain control.
    • When Tasuku learned that Homare was afraid of doing so because he didn't want to hurt anyone, Tasuku was visibly pissed.
  • Hisoka gently asking the truth about Homare from Guy, after being sulky at him for some time. He even apologized.
  • Tasuku took a detour at Mount Panorama before returning with the Fireball. What for? To get some Big Berries for Homare, to help him get back on his feet.
    • It almost happened again when he and Guy were at Dragon Eye Lake. He talked about Digiseabass and its medicinal properties. Guy easily guessed why Tasuku brought up about that fish: he wanted to get some for Homare to help him recover.
  • Blikmon reading Tasuku's mind and convincing him to visit Homare in the clinic. Blikmon found it easy because Tasuku was not only easy to fool, but also more loving and caring than he appeared to be.
  • Piyomon apologized to Azuma after learning the truth behind his blunders at work. Piyomon might be strict, but it had a good heart.
  • Tasuku disagreeing with Tsumugi's plan to become strong. He kept telling Tsumugi that Tsumugi didn't have to be strong because he was already The Heart of the troupe. No matter how strong Tsumugi was, everyone would always protect him because losing Tsumugi would crush the troupe's morale.
    • Eventually, Monzaemon, Blikmon, and Jijimon cooked up a plan to train Tsumugi. However, Tsumugi quickly learned that the process would take too long; while Tasuku and Guy were at Beetle Land to get the Beetle Pearl, without Tsumugi, Azuma would have to work very hard keep himself, Hisoka, and Homare fed. Tsumugi didn't have the heart to do so.
      • This led to Tasuku letting all out about Tsumugi's importance for the troupe. Should there be an argument of sorts within the troupe, nobody could be better at resolving it than Tsumugi. Without Tsumugi, the arguments would go unresolved, and all the resulting conflicts would eat away at the troupe and break it up.
      • There are many occasions in which a conflict happens and causes tension and awkwardness within the troupe, but Tsumugi isn't around. Whenever it happens, Winter Troupe members always wish that Tsumugi is there to resolve it. The whole troupe really acknowledges Tsumugi's status as The Heart of Winter Troupe.
  • Everyone having a sleepover in the clinic to accompany the comatose Homare.
    • When they decided to have a talk before sleeping, Azuma wanted to talk more about his past. He tried his best, but still failed. Whereas Tasuku wiped Azuma's tears and hugged him, Tsumugi immediately suggested changing the topic to something happier.
      • Azuma telling Tasuku that his big brother used to hug him like Tasuku did.
  • Tasuku tried his best to help prepare Guy for Beetle Land. This includes him trying to evolve to KaiserLeomon without losing control so that he can give Guy a ride. He also convinced Guy that everyone had known how to control the Beast Form.
  • When Hisoka recited the lines from My Master's Mesmerized by Mystery, Tasuku and Guy happened to be there. Tasuku immediately recited his lines as Keiji, rather than letting Hisoka continue on his own.
  • Guy reminiscing his leisure horse-riding across the flower field with Citron as Tasuku, as KaiserLeomon, carried him across Native Forest. He wanted to have another leisure horse-riding with Citron again, knowing that it'd be different now that he'd been more emotional.
  • The fact that Hisoka, the resident Sleepyhead, absolutely refused to fall asleep just to take care of the comatose Homare. He did whatever he could to help Homare wake up and recover faster, including Converse with the Unconscious, encouraging others to do the same, and reciting the lines from My Master's Mesmerized by Mystery, the play in which he and Homare played the co-lead and lead role respectively. He was visibly worn out later on and even everyone else, including Homare when he finally woke up, pointed it out, but he just kept going. Really brings home the fact that Hisoka isn't giving himself more credit when he said that all this long he'd been an Ungrateful Bastard to Homare and didn't deserve someone as kind as him, and that Hisoka clearly loves Homare.
    • This culminated in chapter 30, a very tearjerkingly heartwarming chapter. Homare finally woke up, and Hisoka just bawled his eyes out as he buried his face in Homare's shoulder. Homare's response? He gave Hisoka a head pat. It happened again when Tsumugi pointed out how lucky Homare was to have Hisoka around: Homare patted Hisoka's head while saying how wonderful Hisoka was. Hisoka ended up crying so much that his sleeves were drenched because he'd been wiping his tears with them.
      • Made even more heartwarming when you notice that Homare's hands were unsteady throughout the chapter. He was mustering up the very little strength he had to show how much he appreciated Hisoka.
    • Hisoka was incredibly distressed whenever he saw Homare in pain and did whatever he could to help. This includes giving Homare his favorite plush toy Pen Pen to hug and using his power to give Homare's broken ribs a cold compress. He also fed Homare Kentarumon's concoction to soothe his injured throat.
    • The fact that Homare actually heard Hisoka when he was comatose. He described it to be gibberish at first, then it got clearer with time. However, the most important thing was that Hisoka's voice was full of love and kindness, and it spurred Homare to wake up faster.
    • Hisoka finally sleeping, after his hard work came to fruition: Homare woke up.
  • When Azuma suggested that Homare compose a few poems after waking up, Hisoka encouraged Homare to do it instead of complaining. Even Homare was shocked.
  • Tsumugi explaining what Tasuku intends to convey in his letter. For all his complaints, Tasuku knows how important poetry is to Homare. Asking Homare for a poem is his way of showing that he actually cares.
    • This spawned a funny and heartwarming moment between Hisoka and Homare. Hisoka grumbled that Tasuku's letter was a roundabout way of saying that he cared, but Homare laughed and quickly asked if Hisoka had the room to talk. Hisoka admitted that he didn't really have any, but was glad to see Homare laugh again.
    • Homare asked Hisoka to be more direct like what he'd been doing since Homare was bedridden. Hisoka said that he refused, much to Homare's shock, but as Homare had guessed, Hisoka was joking.
  • At the end of Guy's letter, Hisoka talked about marshmallows. Homare tried to tell him to expand his palate, but then his word retrieval problem kicked in. Instead of shooting Homare down like usual, Hisoka playfully asked him, "My what?" to give him a push. Hisoka patiently waited for Homare to find the word, and when Homare succeeded, Hisoka went to pat his head. Why did Hisoka do this? Because he knew Homare could do it with some encouragement and time.
