She Stole My Heart (and most of my valuables)
  • In the epilogue, Camila and Luz have arranged things so that Vee has managed to stay with them. The chapter even opens with them and Amity just hanging out having fun, as well as Luz calling the twins and introducing them to her girlfriend.

The Girl Who Could Knock Out the Hulk
  • After Kara wakes up from the aftermath of getting stabbed by Doctor Doom, Alex gives her a tight hug and goes against her normal business-like demeanor, showing just how much the whole thing affected her.
  • Natasha is unusually angry on Kara's behalf for Fury keeping the Kryptonite dagger a secret, showing that she puts her teammates and their well-being even above her devotion to SHIELD.
  • The Avengers start making plans for a The Lord of the Rings movie night for fun, which conveys how close they are as a team.
  • Upon meeting Ellie, who laments that she's not as well known as the Avengers despite years of being a hero, Kara reassures her by pointing out that with the frequency of major threats going up, she's sure to have her chance to prove herself. Considering how in Thanatos Scowled, Ellie was plagued with fears that she'll never be able to live up to Danny, it makes the praise all the more heartwarming.
  • Kara learning that Kal-El did survive coming to Earth, just Earth-16 instead of where she is. She even gets to see him as an adult hero, looking like the spitting image of his father.
  • Hercules admitting that Nico's father Hades is one of the few Olympians that he has no real beef with, even sparing Nico's life at one point.
    • To top it off, when Hercules sees Doom betray Hecate, he roars with anger at the dictator's actions and attempts to save the goddess on instinct. It seems, beneath all that hardship and hatred, that some of the old heroic Hercules is still in there somewhere.
  • While he doesn't try and excuse his actions, Strange has a good deal of sympathy for Hercules.
  • When Fury orders the room cleared so he can talk to Kara privately, Alex and the Avengers don't budge until Kara tells them to.

    Changing of the Guard
  • Max basically adopted Kevin in this universe, helping the kid with his powers and giving him the home he never got to have.
  • Ben and Julie have been dating for a while, and they're obviously happy together, often to the point of being Sickeningly Sweethearts.
  • Verdonna left her husband and children to try and protect them from an oncoming threat, which is a far more touching reason for her leaving than her canon counterpart.
  • Julie's parents used to be heavily controlling of their daughter...until they met Gwen's parents, who were much worse, and eased up on her.
  • While Kevin is upset to learn that Max lied about the exact cause of his parents' deaths, Coulson points out that Max took him in and raised him, even when it would have been easier to dump him with a foster family.
  • Hala remaining on her ship's bridge, even as she orders the rest of her crew to regroup on the Excalibur, to try and stop Vilgax's ship from reaching Earth, saying that the Kree have a duty and debt to the people of Earth, and that they've already failed them once.
  • When Vilgax's ship arrives in Arcadia, the Azmuth A.I. wants Ben to flee, but Ben refuses, since Vilgax would just continue to cause devastation chasing him across the galaxy chasing, him, and he's going to at least do his best to stop him then and there, where he's got the home-field advantage, asking Azmuth to let him prove himself worthy of the Omnitrix. After a moment, Azmuth admits that it should be clear that he already is, and he'd be proud of the bearer of his creation if it was a different scenario. He then unlocks the Master Control so that Ben can at least have the best chance possible of stopping Vilgax. It's a moment that really shows just how heroic and noble Ben really is. Even when faced with a planet killing threat out for his life, he'll stand his ground to protect everyone.
  • Ben using Diamondhead to defend Gwen from Vilgax's attack. When Vilgax notes that he'd need an Infinity Stone to do any real harm to her Anodite body, Ben notes that he could still cause her pain, and that's all that matters.
  • Tony has warmed up a bit to the idea of teen heroes, even noting that Spider-Man has taught him that teenagers are surprisingly good at the job, and defers to Kevin's superior knowledge of Vilgax after arriving in Arcadia.
  • Even though her liberty could severely limit his power, Vilgax left Myaxx, who's been in stasis on Galvan Prime this whole time, alive, because he didn't want to lose another member of his species again.
  • Ben shows a certain amount of sympathy towards Vilgax's backstory, even if he disapproves of his actions. In fact, his promise to Vilgax that he'll get his chance of revenge against Thanos seems to have earned Ben some respect from him, whereas earlier he viewed him as an Inadequate Inheritor to Max.
  • The Avengers take the time to congratulate the Alien Force for their efforts against Vilgax, and offer them a chance to join the team down the road if they feel they want it. Iron Man and Captain America's praise to Ben in particular is practically what any kid would love to hear from their heroes.
  • Supergirl, having gotten over the initial shock of Ben's Power Girl transformation, says that she's glad to have another Kryptonian around in some way.
  • Thor is overjoyed to find that trolls are Not So Extinct. Despite the trolls being rather apprehensive towards Asgardians, they all still respect and trust Thor without any issues.
  • Thor gives Vendel an enchanted rune stone to contact him with. Promising that he will be there when the trolls need him and that he will not repeat the mistakes of his father in ignoring their plight.

    The Royal We
  • Captain Marvel giving S.W.O.R.D. a heads-up about the Tarron refugees, despite Nova Prime's orders to stay out of it because of Morando's threats.
  • Despite its Insignificant Little Blue Planet status, Earth is considered one of the more aesthetically pleasing home planets in the entire galaxy, showing that other species in the universe think more of it than they let on.
  • After the Tarrons have been settled in, Aja quickly establishes a friendly rapport with Ben and Julie, even apologizing for how her brother is acting out.
  • Julie's parents showing how supportive they are for their daughter and her friends by being incredibly accommodating of their heroic activities, everything considered.

To Rule Alone, to Build Together
  • Lady Noire, Mister Bug, and Queen Bee just hanging out together, no Akuma there, just talking. Until Volpina shows up, at least...
  • Chloe stopping Hawk Moth from stabbing Volpina at the cost of being stabbed herself.
  • When Chloe freaks out over Marinette and Adrien being Ladybug and Cat Noir, she convinces herself they were just playing nice until they could make her give up the Bee Miraculous. The two make it clear to her that they won't do that, and they really do trust her. It ends with the three sleeping cuddled up together after Chloe cries it all out.
  • An unnamed princess, heavily implied to be Shuri, is donating a hundred high-tech prosthetics to Parisian children in need.
  • Sabine calling out to a possessed Queen Bee so she won't hurt Chat Noir.

    Thanatos Scowled
  • Danny Phantom disappeared after his last battle with Plasmius six years ago, but Amity Park still reveres him as their hero.
  • Nico hopes that, after the Mist falls for good, his friends who fought and bled against the Titans and Giants will finally be respected and beloved in the same way that the Avengers are.
  • Nico is understanding when Valerie and Dani tell him about Danny's Transgender status, having been clued in by Will regarding a trans girl in the Aphrodite cabin.
  • Clockwork managed to let Danny save Ellie from being horrifically experimented on by the Guys in White. Unfortunately, he had to kill Vlad in the process.
  • Nico is fully accepting of Danny turning down his offer to join Strange's team. After all the things Danny had been through, safe to say he deserves a break from it all. Even more heartwarming is that he wants Ellie to join to help her step out of his shadow, saying that she deserves a chance to shine on her own.
  • After what happened with Vilgax, Nico decides to give Claire some space before trying to recruit her.

    Vespa Major
  • Strange complimenting the skills of the team, and without any of his normal sarcasm or condescension.

That Which Drives Nerds to Change the World
  • Granville and Callaghan both taught Tony during his college years, and although his memories of that period are a bit blurry, he still remembers the two of them with fondness.
  • Tony and Pepper are legitimately extremely impressed by Hiro's and Tadashi's research, promising to fund their future development with no strings attached.
  • Thanks to Tony being present, Tadashi lives in this universe.
  • Despite Tony needing to severely injure Tadashi to save his life, Cass, much to Tony's own surprise, doesn't hate him for it.
  • Charles Xavier is a family friend of Tony's, and they're perfectly willing to let each other borrow satellite time.

Close Encounters of the Gem Kind
  • Ruby fusing with Moonstone to save Pidge and Lance, joining up with the Paladins.
  • Moonstone joining the Paladins of Voltron, who have decided to start fighting against the Diamonds' tyranny, on the grounds that as "Defenders of the Universe" they can't let such oppression go on unimpeded.
  • The Paladins get an Altean distress signal, giving Allura hope that she and Coran aren't the last remaining Alteans, and prompting the Paladins to all agree to head to Etheria to investigate.

    Eternity in Promise
  • While Catra understandably still refuses to forgive Hordak after all he did, especially to her, she is willing to be nice for Entrapta's sake.
  • The Paladins managing to rescue Darla from a Galra tractor beam.
  • Allura reassuring Adora that she wouldn't undo the alterations the First Ones did to themselves that sealed their distinctive Altean traits away without her express permission.
  • Just the thought of Adora and Catra sleeping together on the same bed, the former curled around the latter. Unfortunately, Catra still suffers from night terrors, but Adora puts up with them for her partner's sake.

From His Vantage Upon the Moon
  • Garnet noting with pride how far the humans have come while watching the Avengers fight against the Chitauri.
  • Kassandra and Zagreus lifting a young Loki's mood when he shares his fears that he's not a god of any worth.
  • Unlike canon, T'Chaka took N'Jadaka/Erik back to Wakanda with him, raising him alongside T'Challa and Shuri. As a result, while still bitter about Wakanda's policy of ignoring the plight of black people around the world, he's formed a bond with his cousins that's had a positive influence on him.
  • T'Challa makes sure that his hack wouldn’t hurt JARVIS and feels apologetic that he has to do it at all. Helps show that he sees JARVIS as a person despite him being an AI working for someone he doesn't fully trust.
  • Despite the fact that he first meets Kanjigar while the latter is killing Forever Knights, and nearly attacks him under the mistaken belief that he's one of them, Max hears the Trollhunter out. And when Enoch arrives with more Knights, Max makes it clear that he can see who the real monsters are, and fights alongside Kanjigar to take them down.
  • On a mission to Atlas, Team STRQ found a young Cinder and adopted her. In doing so, they prevented her from becoming the monster she would have grown up to be and even set Salem's plans back since she couldn't find a suitable Maiden candidate.
  • Although she may not have built Jenny here, Nora still cares deeply for her.
  • Umino, Naru's boyfriend, clearly loves her and although rattled by her spontaneous Sailor Earth transformation, sticks with her.
