She Stole My Heart (and most of my valuables)
  • Eda wiping the floor with an entire horde of goblins and a Gremoblin by herself.
  • Dipper ends the story using a Sling Ring to open a portal from Gravity Falls to Gravesfield. Even Amity, who herself is highly skilled in magic, is impressed after seeing what Earth Magic can do.

The Girl Who Could Knock Out the Hulk
  • Even though he's overwhelmed in the end, the Thing proves himself as the strongest of the Fantastic Four when he gets to knock around and even hurt Supergirl in their fight.
  • Kara sparring with the Hulk. It's as epic as it sounds. Hell, she even manages to earn the Hulk's respect by putting up a good fight.
  • Doom gives Kara a Curb-Stomp Battle, though Kara gets a few good hits in herself.
    • Before that, Doom utterly wrecks all the Avengers and Spider-Man by himself. He even shows both his advanced technology when he destroys War Machine's armor and phases Tony out of his while also showing his mythical expertise by stunning Supergirl and keeping her incapacitated.
  • Lena hopping into the Titanium Man armor and obliterating Centipede mercenaries coming after the injured and weary Avengers.
    • Shortly after the fact, more Centipede forces arrive and are about to overwhelm the heroes, when The Cavalry arrives in the form of Doctor Strange opening portals to bring in the Defenders, the Fantastic 4, Bruce (who quickly turns into the Hulk upon arrival), and a large number of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents led by Alex. The resulting fight is so lopsided against Centipede that the story doesn't bother showing it.
  • Tony and Lena starting a bunch of projects in the two days Kara was out, including Tony successfully creating a Freeze Ray.
  • Kara allowing Strange to keep some of the Kryptonite as a failsafe in case she gets brainwashed or something, showing that she's not going to let the trauma Doom caused control her.
  • The Avengers Tower "Trophy Room" is an entire floor of the Tower that doubles as a lead-lined titanium vault for dangerous objects, complete with its own Arc Reactor for power. In an emergency, it can be detached from the building entirely, the windows and paneling replaced with titanium security panels, and be carried by repulsors to anywhere in its five-thousand mile operational radius, including Earth's lower orbit. Let it never be said that Tony didn't go all out when it came to keeping such dangers locked up.
  • In one room of the Labyrinth of Daedalus, Kara's group takes on a Manticore and several storm spirits. Strange takes out one of the spirits by freezing it into mist, while Thor defeats the rest by draining their lightning. Meanwhile, Kara, Ellie, and Nico work together against the Manticore, with Kara ultimately tearing its tail off, which Nico stabs it in the back with.
  • Hercules managing to match both the Hulk and Thor in combat, showing why he's known as the God of Strength.
  • One of the Egyptian magicians aiding Doom's group magically seizes Nico's sword and redirects it at Ellie, but before it can make contact Strange opens a portal that the sword passes into and causes it to stab Hercules instead.
    • In response, Hercules tries to tackle Nico, but Strange opens another portal that sends him running into the magician that redirected the sword in the first place instead.
  • Kara having the strength of will to reject the Black Mercy. Doom is legitimately impressed and gives her his respect.
  • In at least one previous iteration before the current one, Doom managed to kill Thanos himself. Unfortunately, the Black Order found out that he was human and attacked Earth in retaliation.
  • Even after learning everything from Reed and Doom, Kara makes it clear that it doesn't justify their actions and immediately jumps in to save the deity they've been syphoning for power.
  • Strange restraining Hercules with the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. And when Hecate later frees him, Thor keeps him from getting back into the fight by planting Mjolnir on his chest, pinning him.
    • Speaking of Hecate, not only does she break the Bands, she also restores the Faceless magicians' energy, hijacks Nico's skeleton soldiers and merges them into a giant that she sics on the heroes, and shrinks the Hulk to two inches tall.
  • Strange can't undo Hecate's shrink spell on the Hulk fast enough, so he just uses a separate spell to make him grow until he's normal sized again.
  • Ellie, supercharged by Thor via Strange, unleashes a Ghostly Wail that not only destroys the giant skeleton but actually manages to harm Hecate, nearly destroying her physical form before Ellie passes out from exertion.
  • When Hercules turns against Doom while still pinned under Mjolnir, Nico notes that the hammer actually budges.
  • Doom finding a way to get around magic's tendency to short out technology with his Doombots.

    Changing of the Guard
  • The Omnitrix ruins Ben's plan to fight Krabb as Upgrade by turning him into Ripjaws instead, but Ben still manages to find a way to scrape a victory despite being out of water and unfamiliar with the form. It's also a way of showing that, much like the show, Ben can still improvise even when he's thrown a curveball.
  • Vilgax fought Thanos in this universe and actually managed to survive, which Stuart implies is an experience unique to him. It makes Max defeating him in the past even more impressive.
  • Gwen blasting Sixsix into the Deep. After he maimed Julie and gloated about it to everyone's face, it's rather satisfying to see him get his comeuppance.
  • Vilgax demonstrates why he's so feared, as his ship tears through the Kree fleet, despite them being centuries more advanced.
  • Hala's speech to her crew as she orders them to evacuate to the Excalibur, while she stays behind to try and hold off Vilgax.
    • Later, it turns out that she somehow survived her ship ramming Vilgax's, which she then fights her way through despite her injuries.
  • Ben showing off the Omitrix's power as Heatblast after gaining Master Control by releasing a burst of fire like a mini solar flare, atomizing the drones closest to him, with Gwen having to shield herself from the heat over a mile away.
    • He uses another flare to partially reduce Vilgax to a skeleton... and Vilgax barely slows down.
  • Gwen actually managing to inflict Vilgax's first injuries in the fight, with Vilgax noting that she's more powerful than the aliens Ben is currently using, to the point that it would take an Infinity Stone to do any real damage to her.
  • Tony arriving just in time to save a crashing Air Force pilot from Vilgax's forces, then destroying all the robots in the immediate area.
  • The Celestial powering the Omnitrix? Apparently this universe's version of a Celestialsapien. And Azmuth somehow convinced one to willingly inhabit the Omnitrix.
  • Ben manages to use Goop to escape his bounds, right before a Not Quite Dead Hala shows up to try and rescue him.
  • The Avengers vs Vilgax:
    • Vilgax manages to withstand everything they throw at him and keep on fighting. The battle turns into a stalemate where the Avengers' teamwork lets them overwhelm him time and again before he adapts each time.
    • At the start of the battle, Thor blasts him with enough lightning to incinerate his flesh and give him Lichtenberg scarring all over his body. If it weren't for Vilgax's insane Healing Factor, that would have been the end of the fight.
    • While Ben, Kara, Iron Man, Stuart, Gwen, and Kevin were busy towing the Chimeran Hammer, the rest of the Avengers have been so thoroughly kicking Vilgax's ass that when the rest arrive, it looks like he's been through several entire bodies worth of regenerations and is completely drained while Earth's protectors are still raring to go.
  • Claire keeping a portal open long enough to evacuate Arcadia's citizens into the caverns adjacent to Trollmarket, despite the risk of corruption.
  • The Omnitrix samples Kara's DNA, turning Ben into Power Girl. The two of them then work together to tow Vilgax's crashing ship into orbit so that it can harmlessly drift away.
  • Ben coming up with a plan to stop Vilgax, trapping him in Petrosapien crystals until the Black Order comes, upon which point they will let him loose against Thanos.
  • Max revealing in the final chapter that he retained some of the transformative powers the Omnitrix gave him even decades after giving up the device by turning his arm into a Pyronite arm to fight off some surviving Outriders alongside Rook and Captain Marvel.

Just Another Day at the Office
  • Shepard managing to capture a rogue Decepticon by herself. It's an Offscreen Moment of Awesome, but she's noted to have made liberal use of her grenade launcher.
  • Shepard/Rojo has made it into the top tier of Knowhere’s Bounty Hunter rankings in only a couple of months. Considering those ranks include the likes of Wrex, Raditz, Khyber, the Zeron Brotherhood, and Lockdown, that says a lot.
  • Rojo's reputation is such that, when a female Tetramand, who are canonically stronger than their male counterparts, sees her N7 mark when Shepard is in Afterlife to meet Verdona and Max, she immediately stops and backs down instead of picking a fight for Shepard pushing past her.

    The Royal We
  • Captain Marvel deliberately ignoring Nova Prime's orders and giving S.W.O.R.D. a heads-up about the Tarrons so they can get the help that they so dearly need.
  • Ben as Power Girl catching the Akiridions' crashing ship, altering its descent so that it doesn't hit Arcadia. And while she's crushed by it, she manages to No-Sell the impact and push the ship off of her.
  • Due to the Akiridions mistaking the Alien Force for bounty hunters sent by Morando, Ben has to fight Varvatos Vex. The various abilities provided by the Omnitrix allow Ben to counter Vex's larger build and combat abilities, winning the fight and proving to Aja that they're not a threat.
  • Abigail's casual use of Galvan teleportation technology genuinely impresses Krel, who up until that point had been casually dismissive of Earth's tech level.
  • A villainous example, but the Zeron Brotherhood has already set up shop on Earth's moon. And, establishing their credentials as effective hunters, they've once chased targets into an active volcano in dedication to their job, with none having ever escaped them.

To Rule Alone, to Build Together
  • Chloe getting creative and managing to briefly ward off Sabrina's Akumatized father with nothing but a bag of flour and a lighter.
  • When Volpina shows up, Hawk Moth decides to get involved personally. The following duel showcases just how powerful an adult Miraculous holder can get.
  • Chloe and Ms. Bustier are actually planning to head to Tibet to try and find the Guardians, which does take some serious guts all things considered.
  • Team Miraculous coming up with a plan to get Rose Akumatized on purpose so that Juleka can discover Hawk Moth's identity.
  • When the fight between Chat Noir and a Frenzied Queen Bee ends up in the Dupain-Cheng bakery, Tom helps the hero out by throwing him a bag of flour.

    Thanatos Scowled
  • Nico separating Technus's soul from the ectoplasm making up his form and sending him to the Underworld to face justice for his crimes.
  • Despite the fact that being stabilized has prevented her from getting Stronger with Age like Danny and Vlad, Dani is still powerful enough that Valerie thinks any ghost that tries to overpower her just because she's not Danny is a futile endeavor. Sure enough, the ghosts that were dumb enough to mock her for this learned the hard way not to mess with her.
  • A villainous one, but it's suggested that Dark Danny was strong enough to defeat the entire Olympian pantheon, or at least force them to back off. To top it off, he's even implied to have killed all the Avengers, including the likes of the Hulk, Thor, and Supergirl.
  • A small one, but when a guy got too handsy in the subway the week before the events of the story, Sam managed to break his nose.

    Vespa Major
  • Dipper was apparently using his Sling Ring to sneak into the Sanctum's libraries for weeks before he finally got caught. Strange's response to this was to recruit him despite not having any inherent powers of his own, noting his potential.

That Which Drives Nerds to Change the World
  • Tony's shown to be fairly impressed with Tadashi's work on Baymax, even if the robot does need some tweaking in his opinion. When one considers how Tony is practically the world's greatest expert in robotics, that praise speaks volumes.
  • Hiro's microbots genuinely impressing Tony.
  • One woman that Tony saves keeps ahold of his armor long enough to use the leverage to get out from some debris despite how it burns her hands.
  • Despite being trapped in a Sadistic Choice, Tony sticks to his guns and manages to save Tadashi from the fire.
  • SFIT's cybersecurity is able to detect JARVIS's presence in their systems, no small feat. Sadly, they couldn't stop the footage of the last 72 hours from being deleted.
  • While it was partly due to the urban environment limiting his options, Yokai actually does legitimate damage to the Iron Man armor.

Close Encounters of the Gem Kind
  • Ruby fusing with Moonstone, letting them turn the tide of battle against the Gem Colony forces and rescue both Pidge and Lance.

    Eternity in Promise
  • When a large number of Horde robots reactivate in response to the arrival of the Castle of Lions and a Galra vessel, Adora and Catra manage to fight them off and get back to Darla without incident.
    • Also, props to Horde Prime's engineering for the robots to still be functional after so long.
  • Adora's ancestors managed to successfully hide from the Galra for millennia by using alchemy to forcibly cause their notably Altean traits to remain dormant, letting them hide in plain sight.
  • Catra's claws turn out to be artificial implants made of vibranium, which she earned by killing a large beast about a year before Adora defected.

From His Vantage Upon the Moon
  • Loki, Zagreus, and Kassandra teaming up to pull a prank on Thor, which doubles as a funny moment as well.
  • T'Challa shows off Wakandan technological superiority by hacking JARVIS in order to infiltrate Tony's Malibu home and investigate his discovery of synthetic vibranium, then leaving without leaving a trace.
  • According to Okoye, Tony met Pepper when she burst into his office to confront him over some numerical discrepancies, holding off his security with pepper spray.
  • Max and Kanjigar teaming up to take down the Forever Knights, their superior skills quickly evening the playing field against the Knights' greater numbers and weapons technology.
  • Arriving in Sokovia to meet with Reed, Doom casually reveals that he's bought the land they're standing on for Latveria's embassy, so the more paranoid members of the Fantastic 4 can't eject him for the perceived show of force he made upon arrival.
  • Erik/N'Jakada and the Dora Miraj managing to hold off Princess Fragrance long enough for Ladybug to show up and deal with her, doing surprisingly well considering what an Akuma is capable of.
  • Apparently in Arcade's last Murderworld, the fact that it was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-themed apparently let two people manage to survive and win it, causing Arcade to rage-quit in anger due to the unplanned victory.
  • While Nora didn't build Jenny here, she still created units 1-8 on her own, with a limited budget.
