• "Nintendo Digital Event @ E3 2014" featured animated segments from the creators of Robot Chicken. Among these include Reggie using a fire flower on a fan demanding Mother 3, Peach stealing a donut from Bowser, Little Mac trying to drink coffee while wearing his gloves only to spill it all over himself, and Reggie lasering that same fan for asking about Star Fox. The last one especially becomes funny when Star Fox is revealed to be in development at the end.
• The host of "Animal Crossing Direct 11.2.2016" is a new character named Harvey who starts Speaking Simlish upon entry. He is stopped because the translator isn't working.
• "Nintendo Direct for E3 2019" opens up with Bowser appearing ready to host the direct. However, he is not the Bowser that is supposed to be hosting, but rather the new CEO, Doug Bowser. The Koopa King then proceeds to leave in confusion.
  Yoshiaki: Are you related?
  Doug Bowser: No, but we get that a lot.
• The announcer for the Februrary 2021 Direct gets utterly confused on the summary for No More Heroes III.
• Practically everything about the reveal of the The Super Mario Bros. Movie casting. Chris Pratt as Mario? Charlie Day as Luigi? Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong? Jack Black as Bowser? Try to find one reaction video that doesn't have someone laughing their heads off.
• For the June 2023 Direct, after the announcement of the new WarioWare game, we cut to a scene of Koizumi rocking his hips from side to side with joycons in his hands, back to the camera, with Takahashi just staring at him with amusement. Koizumi pauses and turns, questioning why Takahashi isn't saying anything.
  • After the trailer for Super Mario Bros. Wonder ends, Koizumi and Takahashi calmly discuss the acid trip that was regards to the pipe moving like a caterpillar, Daisy being playable and Mario as an elephant. It already sounds weird when out of context and even weirder with it.
