    Season 1

Impact

  • The Robinson's playing Go Fish and Penny looking at Will's hand in the reflection on his spacesuit helmet. When Will complains, she accuses him of counting cards, and his only retort is that he doesn't know why everyone doesn't do it.

Diamonds from the Sky

  • Although it's indicative of the tension in their marriage, this exchange between Maureen and John in "Diamonds from the Sky" is pretty funny.
Maureen: Listen, I think it's important that they all hear us speaking with one voice.
    John: Couldn't agree more.
    Maureen: That voice is mine.
John: (scoffs with a "shoulda seen that coming" look)
    Maureen: (smiling) Great.
  • Will tries to teach the Robot how to play catch. Since his first idea is just throwing the ball, however, it bounces straight off the bemused Robot with a bonk.
    • On the Robot's first attempt to throw the ball, it starts winding up as if to throw it into geostationary orbit before Will stops him.
    • Later, Vijay freaks out and throws a rock at the Robot, mistaking it for hostile. The Robot, obligingly, catches it and throws it back.
  • Penny's desperate ploy to melt a path out of the garage so she can take the Chariot to warn her parents and Will about an incoming storm has paid off. She dramatically yanks off the tarp covering the Chariot. . . only to see it has no wheels, and the big sticker in the window: some assembly required
  • Penny prepares to drive to the Jupiter 2's Chariot down the side of the glacier where the shuttle is trapped. To psyche herself up, she likens it to "bumper cars, where everybody dies." While eating an Oreo.

Infestation

  • "Dr. Smith" drugging her sister to take her place in 24th Colony Group? Not funny. Getting annoyed at the amount of time between her sister feeling funny and finally keeling over, and making hand gestures to encourage her just drift off? Hysterical. And when her sister first looks down at the champagne and realizes what's happened, she gives "Dr. Smith" an incredulous look. "Smith" just nods and smiles like, "Yeah, I went there. C'mon, sis, you know me."
  • When the Robinsons first discover the eels aboard the ship, they bring one into their kitchen and perform an impromptu autopsy to confirm that they are, in fact the reason for the sudden loss of the ship's fuel. Penny's reaction? She's never eating unagi again.
  • John is fighting the eels while waiting for the 3D printer to finish making a new torque wrench. He takes a moment to check with Judy on the status, and she uses that moment to prove that she and Penny are sisters.
Judy: "Every time you ask, it goes faster."

The Robinsons Were Here

  • Again, its somewhat tragic as it emphasizes the distance in Maureen and John's marriage. They get trapped under the Resolute's antenna dish, and realizs they need to wait for Don to figure out what happened and get them out. John asking "What are we going to do until then?" and the Smash Cut to them sitting as far away from each other as possible is chuckleworthy.

Eulogy

  • When their initial route to Don's crashed Jupiter is blocked by a field of cryogysers, Don refers to them as "space farts." He then leads their convoy on alternate route, blasting Van Halen's Panama opening the Chariot's escape hatch and urging Judy to stick her head out like a girl on prom night. When the other passengers find out she missed prom to study for the MCATs? They join Don in his goading.
  • Don suffers a Disney Death as the Jupiter he's in plummets over the side of a cliff. Asked to explain his predictably miraculous survival, he exclaims to Judy, "I'm a badass, princess!" She repeats the line back sans comma, implying that Don has called himself a Badass and Princess. This breaks the tension and everyone has a good laugh.
  • Teaching the Robot to play Go Fish. Complete with Call-Back to the first episode of Penny reading the Robot's hand in the reflection of his face, and Will calling her out on it.

Pressurized

  • After escaping from the tar pit death trap with the aid of a helium balloon, Maureen and John talk to each other in Helium Speech, causing both to laugh hysterically.

Trajectory

  • Will is working on repairing a console when John offers to help.
John: "How long will this take you?"
    Will: "About an hour."
John: "How long if I help?"
    Will: "About two hours."
    • While working on the console, Will notices a fresh injury on John's head.
Will: "What happened to your head?"
John: "Beckert hit me with a crowbar."
    Will: "Is Beckert okay?"
  • Don refuses to join John on the mission to fly Jupiter 4 up to contact the resolute, saying that doing the right thing hasn't worked out so well for him thus far. By the end, Judy's just looking at him a certain way, and he says, "Son of a b—" before a Gilligan Cut to him getting ready to go.

    Season 2
  • After Will and Penny appear to be hiding from SAR, they find it's actually a horse that somehow got onto the Resolute. They radio their parents about it...and right afterward Don calls with the same news, quickly picking up that they already know.
  • In "Scarecrow," Don West arrives on the amber planet and meets up with the group of mechanics, holding out his hands and declaring "You guys?! I'm back!" Instead of the warm welcome he expected, one of them named Andre decks him in the face. Another mechanic, named Ava, then helps him up, saying that they had a pool to see who would do that first and she was too slow.
  • In "Ninety-Seven," John asks the Robot to take the Resolute to Alpha Centauri.
    Robot: No.
Will: It's a new word. I think he just likes saying it.

    Season 3

Three Little Birds

  • Debbie the chicken has been cooped in a cage surrounded by a bunch of other chickens. Don greets her as "beautiful," saying that he missed her and asking her if she's getting the respect that she deserves. A guy asks how he knows which one is her and he asks the guy what kind of father he thinks he is, telling Debbie that he loves her and will see her soon.

Stuck

  • John and Penny are trying to saw Robot free from a piece of metal that's impaled him. While they're hard at work, with enemy robots likely closing on their position, Penny takes the opportunity to ask her dad about the two boys she's interested in and which one would be better. Not only are John's responses hilariously awkward, but Robot has amazing head tilt dialogue, veering between "Excuse me? Impaled here, keep sawing!" and "Uh, you handling this okay, John?"

Final Transmission

  • John and Will discussing doing some father-son bonding on Alpha Centauri by doing "normal things" quickly veers into the kind of snark we expect from our dear Robinsons.
Will: Or how about docking my allowance whenever I forgot to do my chores?
John: Really? Kid saves us a couple of times, and suddenly thinks he deserves an allowance?
Will: Well, how else am I gonna support my huge gambling problem?
John: Hey, gambling is only a problem if you lose.

Trust

  • Will is lying in bed, recovering from having an artificial heart installed after nearling being killed by SAR. He wakes up hearing alarms, and asks the nurse if they're being attacked by robots. She tells him she doesn't know but to stay calm so he doesn't overstress his new heart, then Penny bursts in. "We're being attacked by robots." As Judy and Robot enter Will's room, you can briefly see the nurse throwing up her hands in frustration as she leaves.
  • Judy, upon seeing Penny and bunch of other kids leading a platoon of now-friendly robots:
Judy: I don't have words for this.
Penny: That's okay, that's my department.
