General

The opening sequence is gorgeous. Clips of humanity's history in space exploration is shown (reflected against a Jupiter in space, though that's not immediately obvious) as uplifting, hopeful music plays, leading up to the reveal of the Resolute and finally, the Jupiter. . . and the original theme cuts in, given a new heroic orchestral treatment with bombastic horns. . . before tapering into some minor key bass notes, reminding use that while space is awesome, it is not safe.

Season One

The series opens with the Robinsons, sitting in their Jupiter, playing cards in their space suits. John is dealing, floating the cards over to them in zero-gee. Not only do the family all catch their cards pretty effortlessly, showing how trained they are for this mission, but the visual effects of the floating playing cards are superb, and the acknowledgement of real science works with everything to set the stage for exactly what this iteration of Lost In Space will be.
Will is stuck in a tree with half a Killer Robot and a raging forest fire on the ground. Displaying a courage he doesn't believe he has, Will crawls out on the thick branch holding the robot, says "No sense in you dying, too," and saws it off, dropping the Robot to the ground where its legs await. His kindness is immediately repaid as the Robot, having now repaired itself, leaps into the tree, grabs Will, and carries him to safety. Then, in a display of Visual Effects of Awesome, the Robot reconfigures itself to more closely match Will's shape.
Will and the Robot arriving just in the nick of time to free Judy from the ice. Punctuated with a phrase that's guaranteed to rouse nostalgia in old fans, and destined to be oft-repeated by new:
Robot: Danger, Will Robinson.

Unbeknownst to the Robinsons, fuel-eating eels have infested the Jupiter 2. John is trying to trace their "fuel leak" below decks, hip-deep in water, just as the trouble they're in dawns on the rest of the family. We last see John getting yanked underwater by the eels, before Maureen, Penny, and Judy meet to discuss the problem. An eel suddenly lands on the deck next to them, they scream. . . then the camera pans up to a bedraggled but uninjured John Robinson.
John: Don't go downstairs.
Penny: Is it dead?
John: It is now.
The Robot has decided to lock Will in a storage closet to keep him safe from the eels. Unfortunately, that's where the torque wrench John needs to keep the eels out of the reserve fuel tank is. The Robot won't let him in, so John asks Judy to 3D print a new wrench. That'll take longer than they have, so Judy asks John what he's going to do.
John: Buy us some more time. (flicks open his pocketknife)
John performing some very tricky piloting (and demonstrating how robustly the Jupiters were built) to finally escape the glacier they crash-landed in.

Will, Penny, Judy, and the Robot are being stalked through the forest by some kind of large predator. They run into a chasm they can't cross, and the Robot pushes a tree over to make a bridge. The kids are crossing, slowly and carefully, but the predator's getting closer. . . and the Robot scares it off with an electronic roar. Then turns back to Judy with his scary red face. . . which melds to blue, before the Robot pumps his fists in the air in victory, like Will taught him to.
Maureen shows her smarts yet again. An earthquake causes the Resolute's busted antenna dish to fall down towards Maureen and John. John's first instinct is to run, but Maureen stops him, hauls him back to her, and tells him to get down. The dish is concave enough that they were safe in the middle; too far in any direction and they would have been crushed.

John, Penny, and Judy are being menaced by a large, scaly, armored alien predator with truly massive teeth. John has nothing but his trusty pocketknife to defend his children. John standing his ground and prepared to actually fight this thing with such a blatantly inadequate weapon is a badass moment in it's own right, but the creature pounces. . . and the Robot body-checks it away mid-leap.
Then a second predator shows up, and together they hand the Robot his ass. Granted, Will had forbidden him from hurting anyone, but they were doing serious damage the Made of Indestructium Robot. Up until Will convinces the Robot to "Be bad" and fight back, at which point the Robot curb-stomps the predators.
And all this came to pass because Dr. Smith was plotting to take control of the Robot as her personal bodyguard and wanted "all his options on the table." A rather on-the-fly plan adapting to surprises works perfectly, and Smith's course is set for the remainder of the season.

Season Two

Season Three

After all the different kinds of hell they went through, the Robinsons and friends finally arrive at Alpha Centauri. And it is gorgeous.
After most of the episode thinking Robot has been hacked by SAR to sabotage the colony, only to find several robots landed in secret and are sabotaging the hydroelectric dam that powers the defense grid, Robot finally makes an appearance, ready to protect the colony. The robots approach, Robot is badly outnumbered, the lead robot prepares to strike. . . and Robot casually smashes the giant water pipe next to him, flushing all the enemy robots off the dam and hundreds of feet down into the lake. Clever, Robot.

Penny figuring out for herself how Will befriended Robot, and helping another hostile robot repair itself, which causes another transformation and friendly robot. Soon, most of the kids of the 24th Colonist group follow Penny's example, and are next seen with a whole platoon of friendly robots.
Don fixing a major electrical short to save the day with duct tape, electrifying a Jupiter guarding the hyperspace engine from the robots and blowing the robots clear off its hull. Mundane Made Awesome at its finest.
Maureen freezing a robot solid with liquid hydrogen, then John shattering it with crowbar swung home-run baseball bat style, complete with Pre-Asskicking One-Liner.
Maureen: You know Will Robinson? I'm his mother.
The final showdown with SAR, after Will and Robot convinced the robot homeworld through Robot's sacrifice to stand down, all the Robinsons, Smith, Don, and Grant Kelly drop SAR with the command signal the robots transmitted. When SAR refuses to shut down the overloading engine, reaffirming its commitment to killing all Masters, Will stops the signal. SAR leaps to attack, stabbing Will in the heart again...and the remnants of Robot in Will's artificial heart infect SAR, turning him into Robot's new body. SAR is dead, and Robot lives again and stops the engine overload, saving Alpha Centauri.
