Farglow and Broken Valley

  • Most of the ghosts you speak with throughout the game are pretty funny. The first one, Toral, is no exception.
    • Rhode tells Marius that during her initiation, she was fine until she first saw Toral.
  • When you meet Isobel, who will give you the power to read minds, she will ask you to think about something. You can choose to think about how it is to face a dragon, how cute Isobel looks, or about the delicious pork chops you had for dinner.
  • Carl Jackson is a seemingly completely normal farmer. However, it is revealed that he murdered Boothe, a man who was flirting with his wife Dana. Nobody knew who murdered Boothe. It seemed like the perfect crime. Except for one thing: he wrote about it in his diary. It's kind of funny how stupid that is.
    • Similarly, in Aleroth, a man named Hansel tried to murder the husband of the woman he lusted after by luring an undead to him. Guess where he wrote about it? What makes it even dumber is that he asks the dragon knight to fetch his diary. What did he expect, not to be caught?
    • Carl apparently once warned his niece Alzbeta to hide her diary in case a Dragon Knight found it. Considering that she was part of a scheme involving cannibalism, she probably should have listened to him.
  • Hallorn, one of the five wanted criminals you can find throughout the Broken Valley, threatens you with "money or your life" when you meet him in some catacombs. You can either threaten him back, point out how unoriginal he is... or you can go on a pretentiously poetic tangent about the value of life, confusing the poor bastard into wanting to kill you just so his head stops hurting.
  • You can find a man named Casper in the valley, looking for a chicken that he was Soul Forged to. The exchange naturally lends itself to many chicken- and egg-based puns.
    • If you choose to, after you talked to him you can find said chicken nearby and kill it (it is the only chicken that is white). Doing so will show a cutscene of Casper immediately keeling over dead, with Talana baffled that you went out of your way just to off him. The fact that this is actually Ygerna calling you out makes it even more funny.

Maxos Temple and Sentinel Island

  • The brick joke of Amdusias hating the word Maxos. You can say the name in every conversation you have with him, making him progressively angrier every time. Come Hall of Echoes, you get to meet him again. Saying Maxos causes him to scream, drop dialogue and attack you.
    • In Flames of Vengeance you can ask Decimus to find Amdusias in the Hall of Echoes and say 'Maxos'. He's certain that Amdusias will be glad to hear from a friend even in death.
  • How you gain access to the dragon tower in the first place. Laiken has secured the entrances against all assault, so you bring his ex along to shout abuse at him from outside until he sends people to open the gate and shut her up.

Orobas Fjords

  • The "Dragon Terror Brigade". A group of rogue dragon hunters who are all obviously insane and, after they're done introducing themselves and vowing to kill you, they do a Power Rangers style transformation sequence where they put on their armor and strike a "Super Sentai" Stance. Made funnier by them keeping the pose for a comically long time and Jedediah walking by in the Background, completely ignoring what's going on.
