Fridge Brilliance
"The Duel"
  • Why does the Ronin leave the current village leader a red kyber crystal saying it will ward off evil spirits? Because it will do just that, ward off the evil-spirited Sith. Think about it: since the kyber crystal is already strong with the dark side, no other darkside user will be looking for it. They will be looking for Jedi and light-side users to fight. To a Sith and the like, a dark kyber crystal will simply signify that the village is already occupied by a darkside-user. As opposed to an uncorrupted kyber crystal, which would simply be ringing the dinner bell for bloodthirsty Sith. If anything, Ronin did the village a favor.

"The Twins"

  • Karre is somehow able to stand upright on the hull of his X-wing while it enters hyperspace without being thrown off by the momentum. Which makes (some) sense, since there is no air resistance to push him back. Of course, he still should be thrown off since there's nothing securing him to the ship, but at least it gives the illusion of making sense.

"The Ninth Jedi"

  • Kara believes she isn't strong enough in the Force and is said to be untrained, yet is shown to be a capable enough fighter as seen when she fends off a Jedi hunter and holds her own against the Sith infiltrators. However, given her father is implied to be Force-sensitive and that they're family friends with a Jedi but was Locked Out of the Loop, it can be assumed Kara has received training from Zhima and Juro but was never told it was Jedi training. As a result, she underestimates herself at the beginning, and only as she fights actual Sith does she realize her capabilities, allowing her blade to turn from colorless to green.
  • Adding to the above, it's also possibly an elaborate plan on Margrave Juro's part to have Zhima train Kara in the ways of the Jedi without actually telling her that it's Jedi training. Given that the galaxy at that point has so few Jedi left, and that the Sith are still out there looking for and eliminating any Jedi they could find, deliberately convincing Kara to believe that she isn't strong enough in the Force and untrained is a way to 'hide' her force sensitivity from Sith hunters, while also actually training her all the basics of lightsaber training so that when the time comes for her to embrace her Jedi abilities (i.e. when Juro has snuffed out the Sith impostors), she would already have everything she needs to be a fledged Jedi Padawan.
  • Regardless of Kara's training, it seems strange that a Jedi Padawan would be able to hold her own against multiple Sith Masters at once. Except that none of them have ever used a lightsaber before, while Kara has been training with lightsabers by her father all her life. They have no idea how to fight her.
  • At first, it might seem a little odd that Homen was actually on Juro's side - and then you remember that his saber is purple. Purple sabers have generally been a sign that the wielder shares an affinity for both Light and Dark.

T0-B1

  • T0-B1 finally gets the kyber crystal once he gives up childish dreams of being a Jedi and completes the professor's research. In the words of Yoda, “Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things.”

"Akakiri"

  • This episode finally proves that the Force does have the ability to bring someone back to life (or at least the Dark Side does), which also suggests that Palpatine might actually have had the ability to bring Padme back to life in Revenge of the Sith. Palpatine instead chose not to do so, even after having promised Anakin as such, and let Anakin wallow in despair at having been responsible for killing his own wife and unborn children, so that he has nothing else worth living for except as Darth Vader, a dark lord of the Sith and a slave to Palpatine.
    • In contrast to Palpatine, Masago had everything to gain by helping Tsubaki heal Misa. Had Misa died, Tsubaki would have had no reason to keep on living, and at best (for Masago) taken his own life, and at worst, attacked her in what would have been a Roaring Rampage of Revenge. By healing Misa, Masago achieved three goals at once: 1) She established the superiority of Dark over Light to Tsubaki, 2) She gained a potent apprentice who will do what she wills of him, and 3) Misa is the perfect hostage for her to help keep Tsubaki in line. The implications are that the dreams Tsubaki had were manipulations by Masago to try and turn Tsubaki, and it worked.

Fridge Horror
"The Village Bride"
  • One of the few memories of F's we briefly glimpse involved seeing a red blade, so it's likely the root of her trauma isn't just from surviving Order 66, but what came after as well. Like an encounter with an Inquisitor, or someone much worse?

"Lop and Ochō"

  • Lop revealed herself to be a force sensitive in her duel with Ochō (with her using Force Pull to grab one of her father's sai blade to dual wield it along with her ancestral lightsaber), who managed to escape. Since this takes place during the Rise of the Empire era, it's highly possible that if Ochō doesn't keep this fact a secret and reveal the truth about her adopted sister's force sensitivity to her superiors, an Inquisitor would be dispatched to planet Tao to deal with her...along with a large invasion force that will surely come to retake the planet.

"Akakiri"

  • The short presents a terrifying suggestion: even if Palpatine ended up bringing Padmé back to life, Anakin would've stayed as Vader because the damage had already been done; the Jedi Order is gone and some even by his hand, he was the one who killed Padmé in the first place, and he had no way of knowing if Padmé and Obi-Wan would ever take him back.
