A 1955 Israeli war film directed by Thorold Dickinson that revolves around the lives of soldiers (James Finnegan, Yitzhak Michael Shillo, Michael Wager, and Maraglit Oved) as they defend the titular hill that overlooks the road to Jerusalem.

The movie also starred Haya Harareet, Ruth Rappaport, Shoshana Duer, David Ram, and Shoshana Damari.

It was released on November 2, 1955.

Tropes for the film:

  • The End: Inverted Trope, as the movie ends with text reading "THE BEGINNING".
  • Incredibly Obvious Tail: Finnegan to Miriam. Among other things, he accidentally has his Newspaper-Thin Disguise upside down (he can't tell himself because he doesn't read Hebrew), leading Miriam to come over and turn it right side up for him.
  • Newspaper-Thin Disguise: Finnegan uses this while (poorly) tailing Miriam. Because he doesn't read Hebrew, he accidentally picks it upside down, only for Miriam to come over and turn it right side up for him.
  • Rushed Inverted Reading: Finnegan accidentally does this with his poor disguise while being an Incredibly Obvious Tail to Miriam. He doesn't notice because he doesn't read Hebrew, so she comes over and turns it right side up for him.
