Even though they were kidnapped in the middle of the night, the kids warm up to their school and make friends. Then things get... complicated. - Synopsis: The Four Ethereals have decided to act because of the actions of Team Rocket. Even though they were defeated, the group's actions have caused the Ethereals to decide that humanity must be wiped out. Now it is up to the Pokédex holders to stop them from completing their goal of global human genocide. This is the first of the four stories of their endeavor to defeat the Ethereals.
Another Pokémon High Story by Camilleon

- Synopsis: The story takes place in Indigo Plateau Academy where all the Dex Holders are students. It begins with the introduction of a new student, Soul, and tells of the hijinks of the Dex Holders' lives.
- Tags: High School AU
- Comments: A very funny and refreshing fic. There is little focus on Pokémon, but the dialogue is hilarious. The author has really managed to represent the characters the way they are in the manga. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a light and quick read.
Shipping Fics

- Synopsis: The dexholders learning to be parents.
- Pairing(s): Mainly Frantic (Ruby/Sapphire), but has others like Mangaquest (Gold/Crystal), Special (Red/Yellow), and Oldrival (Green/Blue).
- Tags: Kid Fic
- Comments: A beautiful and episodic narrative about the dexholders growing up and raising their kids. Funny, philosophical at times, and simply lovable. One of the best fanfiction this troper has ever read.
Crossovers
Stories that blend one universe with anotherCrisis on Two PokéWorlds by PokéRescue18

- Synopsis: A PokéSpe/PokéDPAdventure/Manga/Anime Intercontinuity and Crisis Crossover of epic proportions! Reality will shatter and worlds will collide as a portal sends several of the anime characters and the PokéDex Owners into each other's worlds! Now they must team up with their counterparts, defeat their foes, and save both worlds before all is lost! Has its own page.
- Pairing(s): Various shippings from the three media, although the series puts more emphasis on action.
- Tags: Intercontinuity Crossover, Crisis Crossover
- Comments: This is a pretty good crossover story, despite suffering from a case of Early-Installment Weirdness in the early chapters. However, the author continously improve on his writing stories and the story has moved on to be one of the best Pokémon crossovers in fandom.

- Synopsis: On Red’s eleventh birthday, a man with no eyes gives him a letter inviting him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hoping to find more from life, Red leaves the cupboard under the stairs where he sleeps and dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master to embark on a very strange journey in a world filled with people whose hair defies gravity, strange social conventions (including an inexplicable disdain for Pokémon) and the leftovers of the evil Team Rocket. Team Rocket always seems to be altering between trying to kill him and revive their fallen leader, the Dark Lord Giovanni — or at least his cause.
- Pairing(s): Various ships, mostly slash, throughout the story, but the main ones are: Red/Green (Original), N/Black (Isshu), and Gold/Silver (Precious Metal).
- Tags: Harry Potter Crossover.
- Comments: At first glance, this story feels like a slightly cracky retelling of the Harry Potter story, with all the characters taking a role from the Harry Potter books (i.e- Red: Harry, Professor Oak: Dumbledore, etc.) mixed with a lot of lighthearted humor. But as you keep reading, the story quickly goes from mostly lighthearted to serious. This fic also delves into much darker areas, such as pedophilia, gaslighting, PTSD, etc., and are treated very seriously once the issues come to light.
Pokémon Adventures: Ash Gray Chapter by Could Not Think Of A Good Name

- Crossover with: Pokémon: The Series
- Synopsis: When a battle for Giratina does not go as planned, Red, Blue, Green, and Giovanni end up in Ash Ketchum's world. A crisis soon results from the dimensional travel, and the dex holders must work together with Ash and his friends to save their homes. But can the heroes even put aside their differences long enough to pose a threat?
- Comments: Much like the Crisis on Two PokéWorlds above, it is an Intra-Franchise Crossover that blends the two settings together. Both settings are given a balanced amount of story weight, and the characters interact realistically. Rather than gloss over the mechanical differences between the two settings (levels, see-through Pokéballs, etc), it embraces them, going so far as to integrate them into the plot. While it may be dead and nearly gone, it's a must-read if you've ever wanted to see the Anime and the Manga settings interact.
Pokemon Adventures: Brick Bronze by 2b2tEternalLegend

- Crossover with: Pokemon Brick Bronze/Pokemon Adventures
- Synopsis: One year after the events of Sun and Moon, Bronze, a intelligent young trainer, sets out on a training journey, all while the nefarious plot of Team Eclipse is finally coming to fruition after many long years. Will the Dex Holders and Bronze be able to stop the greatest threat the world has ever seen?
- Comments: This is a newer Fanfic, and is quite long. Expect many references to past series, some cameoed Bible verses for some reason, and some spelling errors. However, it is very good in my opinion, and has a amazing scene between the main villain and Professor Oak. Many noticeable tropes.
