26 campers. One group represent the popular kids in school, the other represents the unpopular, geeky kids. On this outcast island, they will partake in a schoolyard fight of epic proportions where not only dominance is at stake, but also a cool Million Dollars.

- Big Storm Episode: The events of episode eleven involve a Category 5 hurricane, with the campers getting separated and having to reunite. The island even gets sunk in the process...
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: A giant, radioactive praying mantis appears in a couple of episodes, and attacks the campers in one of these. Drake fights against it when he's captured by it, and later on, Benny and Cherri take it down for good.
- Chekhov's Gift: Stella receives a new microphone from her parents on day 9. It is used a couple episodes later to save everyone by alerting a boat to their location after their island sunk.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Some of the campers home lives aren't all sunshine and rainbows...
- After refusing to subcome to peer pressure, Drake's former friends bullied him to the point of suicide. Thankfully, his parents saved him in time.
- Ellis got framed by his older sister, disowned by his parents, and kicked out on Christmas Eve.
- Kade lost her legs in a forest fire.
- Marissa lost her first love due to a sickness she thinks she caused.
- Nelson lost his birth parents, and very nearly lost his older sister.
- Ron is abused by his drug-riddled parents, causing him to believe all people are like this.
- Different in Every Episode: Korpse's earrings. They're themed after items from Nintendo products.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Nelson. So much so that his team was able to get past a door because he was dressed like Ribbon after getting a makeover.
- Exact Words: In Chapter 1, the Geeks had to give a female on their team a makeover. However, Nelson, a guy, looked girly enough to pass as a girl after he dressed up as Ribbon from Kirby 64, making the door open anyway.
- Food Fight: The theme of the second challenge.
- Gosh Dang It to Heck!: The Campers try to invoke this in the Yoshi's Island challenge, so they don't curse in front of the babies.
- Grey-and-Grey Morality: There are clear heroes and clear villains. But the cast also contains neutral characters, heroes than tend to be rude, and villains that seem to have a softer side to them.
- Groin Attack: Drake does one of these by accident to Mozart after Lance yells at him.
- Played for Drama when Drake accidentally nails Sting in the crotch during a water-themed challenge, which very narrowly drowns him.
- Least Common Pizza Topping: At the beginning of the Anti-Talent Challenge, everyone is given pizzas with a single topping, and everyone avoids the one with anchovies, except for Stella.
- Skipping School: The theme of the fourth challenge. The campers had to escape from class and hide from the Truant Officers.
- You Shall Not Pass!: Marissa does this to buy the Geeks some time during the Hooky challenge.
