The Many Mismatches of Vlad Masters
is a fanfic created by Flower princess11 where Vlad Masters steals a scroll out of hope it'll help him get Maddie. Instead, he angers the powerful beings guarding the scroll and they force him to go on a date per day during ten days.
Tropes:
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: FP brings up how Vlad used his ghost powers to become rich through criminal means i.e. robbing banks and swindling other business owners.
- Crippling Overspecialization: Vlad's anti-ghost weapons are useless against the beings he stole the Scroll of Soulmates from because they aren't ghosts.
- Dating Catwoman: Vlad says the idea of Danny dating Ember "makes as much sense as any do-gooder dating a bad girl" and Neo replies by guessing Vlad "never read any Batman comics".
- De-power: As punishment for stealing the Scroll of Soulmates, FP and Neo block Vlad's powers until he dates ten ladies.
- Double Standard: When told his dates can reject him and not only can Vlad not do the same to them but has to treat them like the gentleman he wants the world to think he is, Vlad calls it a double standard. Neo points out everything Vlad did to deserve it and how he doubts the women Vlad is about to date did the same.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Shego might be a villain but she won't attack her brothers or do jobs in their hometown.

- As dismissive as Vlad is of Danny's chances with girls who aren't Sam, seeing a reality where he dates Kitty makes him acknowledge Danny is a better boyfriend than "that biker hooligan".
- Penelope Spectra might be a Gold Digger who put up with Vlad to eat at his expense and feed on his misery, but even she eventually grows tired of a guy who's so obsessed with another guy's wife he can't accept they're happy together. She even considers Vlad more pathetic than the Box Ghost.
- Shego and Drakken are disgusted by Vlad's obsession with a married woman.
- Even Shego and Drakken were unwilling to retrieve her stolen money from Vlad, after it accidentally winds up at a poor orphanage.

- The first date for Vlad is with Spectra. And it doesn't end well to say the least.
- The second date has Vlad going out with Shego, who is only doing it under Drakken's orders.
- Gold Digger: Vlad assumes that "Miss Go" is one of these.
- Hypocrite: Upon reading his first mismatch's profile, Vlad describes her as someone who "seems to have a high view of herself".FP: Pot will soon meet kettle...
- Irony: Penelope Spectra feeds on people's misery but finds Vlad's distasteful in spite of considering him "one of the most self-made, miserable men" she ever found.
- Let Me Get This Straight...: Vlad's response to the condition he must meet to regain his powers.Vlad: "Let me get this straight, you destroy my security and take away my powers...and then promise to give them back if I take part of a dating service?!..."
- Loving a Shadow: Vlad sees Maddie as "A beautiful, intelligent auburn haired beauty who loves spending time in the kitchen, watching soap operas, likes cats and yearns for something more than the terrible life her choices in college lead her to have".
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: FP gives one to Vlad on why Maddie would never be happy with him.FP: Plasmius, this is the truth, you are nowhere near the prize you think you are. You are a bitter, narcissistic, self-obsessed, selfish creep who thinks the world owes him everything and is obsessed over a woman who you never really loved, just saw as a prize. Even before you got your powers, you still had a high opinion of yourself and even faked a lot of stuff to get where you are as you stalked a girl who was way too good for you, ignoring how she truly felt about you...
- Rigged Contest: When Vlad says he was named Affluence Magazine's most eligible bachelor for 10 years, FP points out he rigged that contest "in a desperate bid to get Maddie's attention".
- Rule of Three: Vlad cannot mistreat his dates or cheap out on any of them but FP and Neo will give him three chances. If he gets three strikes, not only will he never regain his powers, but he'll lose his whole fortune instead of the third he'll lose if he simply refuses to join the dating service.
- Villain Protagonist: Vlad is the main character. His life's goal is to make Maddie to leave her husband for him, which leads to him being forced into a dating service.
